Still cant decide where to go to?! Well here are some advice
for you my friend. You have to consider what specialization
of ECE you want to have your training. Do you want to focus
on Electronics/Semiconductors, or Broadcasting? Here are some
pointers you might want to consider when choosing. If you
want to apply what you have learned in your 3rd and 4th year
ECE subjects(most of which are electronics), then choose a
semicon-related company. You will surely have the edge
among your peers when it comes to applying your knowledge
from school.
But if you want to find out the concepts (at least basic
concepts) of broadcasting or telecommunications, then dont
hesitate to try out telecoms or broadcast firms. You might
"suffer" a bit in your work because your communication sub-
jects dont come until 5th year(at least in UST). But in the
long run, you will benefit because through the training you
were able to understand some concepts of communications and
broadcasting come fifth year. And you get the last laugh
(ha ha ha!)!!!
So, do you now have a choice???
