To introduce the trainee to the different functions and scopes of different offices under the engineering department of Manila Broadcasting Company (MBC) and to instill in him the principles behind various operations through the supervision of Electronics & Communi- cations Engineers and technicians.

Based on the different Areas of MBC Eng’g Dept. the Training Program involves four parts:

PART 1 - AM OPERATIONS

the trainee is assigned to MBC’s flagship AM radio station DZRH where he will be handled by radio & maintenance technicians in the announcer’s & technicians’ booth who will acquaint him with the operation of studio equipment & the set-up from studio to satellite hub.

in this part the trainee undergoes guidance by the chief computer technician about the structure of the company’s computer network.

the trainee will be exposed to the technical operations of the radio station Yes-FM. He will be supervised by the station’s technicians and announcers on the functions of all audio equipment & the studio’s set-up.

the last part involves comprehensive training of operations and functions of the different broadcast equipment used for nationwide broadcast. Also included in this part is the trainee’s introduction to the concepts of broadcast communications through satellite technology (as currently being used by MBC).
