ROBOTICS
In this camp, children create machines from the Lego
Dacta series of parts, and then program computers to
bring the machines to life. The legos use a variety
of wheels, gears, motors and sensors to move and respond
to the commands of the LOGO program that your child
writes. Robotics inspires students to use their creativity.
Skills: Robotics, computer programming and graphics.
ROBOTICS II
Advanced robotics offers a challenging summer experience.
This camp will challenge the student imagination
and creativity. Campers will build more complex
machines and programs than in the Robotics I camp.
The programming
and feedback experiments enable students to form
an in-depth understand of control technology and
information transfer. There are over a 40 challenging
projects. Students must have a working knowledge
of MS-DOS and Robotics Camp I.
Skills: Robotics, programming, and graphics.
COMPUTER ARTIST & KEYBOARDING
In Computer Artist camp, kids will use an incredible
array of computer graphics programs to create amazing
pictures using scanners as well as creating their
own images. Campers will discover and explore the
limit less range of possibilities with art and a
computer. Also, campers will enjoy learning how to
type with the world’s best-selling typing program.
It’s the proven, effective way to learn how to type
with accuracy, speed and rhythm. Skills: Graphics, Scanners, Word processing and
Keyboard
LIGHTS-CAMERA-ACTION (HOLLYWOOD)
Campers will write, direct and play their own
animated shows with talking characters, scripts,
and sound
effect. Movie producers this is your chance to
put your creative skills to the test. Don’t forget
to
bring your favorite music, and pictures.
Skills: Word processing, Multimedia, Graphics, Animation,
and CD-ROM.
BRAIN CHALLENGES
Campers you don’t have to worry about getting a noodle
brain over the summer. Keep sharp by using mind-bending
programs like Incredible Machines and Nigel’s World.
Boost your brain-power by solving puzzles, riddles,
experiments, problems and etc.
Skills: Word processing, Science, Geography, Logic,
Math, and CD-ROM.
STORYBOOK MAKER & CREATIVE WRITING
Campers will discover their own artistic writing
talents. So, collect your thoughts and bring your
own pictures and use the 100-thousand clipart gallery
collection to enhance and personalize your story.
In addition, you will learn computer skills, editing,
coping, pasting, importing, scanning, saving and
printing.
Skills: Word processing, Scanning, Keyboard, Graphics,
CD-ROM.
