Lord of the Tower

When I created the character of Salkaner, in early 1995, he was simply an enchanter of the past, and the author of a book of magic. We were playing Middle-Earth Role Playing, 250 years after Sauron's fall, I was the game master and my adventurers found an old book about demons and spirits. After, I used Salkaner as the creator of a powerful amulet, and I started to imagine his history. Then I used him again and again, soon he became a pivot for many adventures, ...and one of my nicknames! And the legend began...
Quando ho creato il personaggio di Salkaner, all'inizio del 1995, egli era semplicemente un incantatore del passato, e l'autore di un libro di magia. Stavamo giocanto al Gioco di Ruolo del Signore degli Anelli, 250 anni dopo la caduta di Sauron, io ero il master e i miei avvventurieri avevano trovato un vecchio libro su demoni e spiriti. Poi, ho usato Salkaner come il creatore di un potente amuleto. e ho iniziato ad immaginare la sua storia. In seguto l'ho usato ancora ed ancora, e presto divenne il fulcro per varie avventure,... e uno dei miei soprannomi! E iniziò la leggenda...

The AMERP history

Born in the far east in the 2900, Third Age, descendant of the people from Numenor (the loser side), since his youth he was interested in magic, and in studies for new, unknown ways to reach weird power. Then, in search of power, he became a Sauron's ally, but both of them knew that it was just a temporary joint. After the fall of the "half blind", he tried to keep together an empire in the far east, helped by some followers: human magicians, dwarves warriors, thieves and adventurers of any mortal race: the beginning of the Order of the Black Snake (a black, blue-eyed snake, in the shape of a runic S was Salkaner's symbol). What happened next was mostly a mystery, except that his empire fell, and after that, Salkaner became, until his death, the lord of an ancient tower full of magic in the middle of a desert: La Torre Senza Nome.

Il Mondo Reale

Che dire di me? Quando ho creato questo sito avevo 26 anni, sono italiano, lavoravo come consulente nel marketing e ho diversi hobby: letteratura, in particolare fantasy (l'avresti immaginato?), fantascienza e thriller. Poi mi piace programmare (non è il mio punto di forza, forse...), faccio l'assistente arbitrale di calcio, mi piace il teatro, la musica (soprattutto rock e folk), i giochi di ruolo e molte altre cose,....Ma, non è più interessante il lato destro?

The Real World

Well, what about me? When I created this site I was 30, Italian, I work as a business consultant, and I have many hobbies: literature, especially fantasy (did you guess?), sci-fi, and thriller. Then I like computer programming (not my best, do you agree?), I am a football assistant referee, I like theatre, music (mainly rock and folk), roleplaying and many other things,.... But, isn't the left side more interesting?

La storia nel GiRSA

Nato nell'estremo est nel 2900, Terza Era, discendente della gente di Numenor (la fazione perdente), dalla sua giovinezza si è interessato nella magia, e in studi per cercare nuove, sconosciute vie per controllare i poteri arcani. In seguito, in cerca di potere, divenne un alleato di Sauron, ma entrambi sapevano che si trattava di un'accordo temporaneo. Dopo la caduta del "vecchio orbo", cercò di creare un impero nell'estremo est, aiutato da alcuni seguaci: maghi umani, guerrieri nani, ladri e avventurieri di ogni razza mortale: l'inizio dell'Ordine del Serpente Nero (un serpente nero dagli occhi azzurri, nella forma di una S runica, era il simbolo di Salkaner). Cosa accadde in seguito è in gran parte un mistero, a parte che l'impero crollò, e dopo di ciò Salkaner divenne, fino alla sua morte, il signore di un'antica torre della magia in mezzo ad un deserto: La Torre Senza Nome.

So, why is there a fennec in the Lord of the Tower' s rooms? Well, the Nameless Tower is just in the middle of a desert, so what type of pet (or maybe assistant?) can you expect for the Lord of the Tower?
Ma perchè c'è un fennec nelle sale del Signore della Torre? Ecco, la Torre Senza Nome si trova in mezzo ad un deserto, quindi che tipo di animale (o forse assistente?) puoi aspettarti che tenga il Signore della Torre?
