As with most people out there, I am very UN [ahem] I mean very fortunate to have a loving family and loving and caring Girlfriend, so I thought I'd let tell you a little bit about them (and to stop them from saying "why didn't you put me on your page!!??" hehe)
To Begin with, I have a sister - Karyn, who is 20 years old. She is getting married on March 20, as I've already told you. Her fiance, Brad is 23 and is an accountant for PriceWaterhouse Coopers. I still find it scary - her being 20 months younger than me and yet she's getting married and has already bought a house!! YIKES!! Talk about tied down!!!
Karyn is also a registered nurse, so they've both got really good jobs and have been together since she was 14, so everything for them will hopefully work out well.
I guess I'm a bit of a freak in the family because I didn't meet my wife when I was young. Not only did my sister meet her husband when she was young, but my parents have been together since they were 15. My father, Peter runs the Auckland Golf Association and is also a selector for the Auckland representative team. He also plays off about a 4 handicap himself, so he's more than a good golfer himself!! Mum is a Primary School teacher and teaches the little 5 year olds when they first start school. She loves it, and is really good at it. You gotta respect anyone that can teach a child to read - I don't think I'd have the patients.
My Girlfriend Margaret graduates with me this year - we met in a class about two years ago when I bugged her constantly hehe :-) It obviously worked though right?? She now works for Arthur andersen - a big rival to my firm Ernst & Young, so we have lots of secrets we have to keep from each other for professional reasons!! she's also very smart and dedicated with her work and I admire her for that. She's also a DAMN GOOD dancer - comes from too many hours in the gym and aerobics I think?? haha. I'll put a photo of her on here when I get one scanned
