Origin:

The werewolf idea comes from prehistoric hunters who used to kill wolfs and wrap themselves in the hides of the dead wolf . They believed that on every full Moon the skins would give unnatural abilities and transform the half wolf and half man. The full Moon part came from when the prehistoric people tamed wild dogs and hounds and made them hunt. Then they saw that every full Moon they seemed to howl at it.

So they thought that wrapping themselves in the animals hide would give them the abilities of the animal. There is an other legend on the werewolf . It is said that the godesse of hunting would merge here hounds with here servants to form lethal hunting weapons , but here spell would only work when the Moon was full .
