Um...

U M . . .

Is the gypsy curse exclusive to Angel, or can it apply to any vamp? Cuz if it's not specific, why don't the gang just curse all the mean vamps and make the place Angstydale? That way they could save *so* much on stunt co-ordinators, cos there wouldn't be any mean vamps to fight anymore!

Angelus. The word just slides in the mouth like chocolate. Mmmmm. Oh Angelus! Watching the old eps of him in action after season 3 of tragically angsty yet lacky-ish Angel, the blood gets pumping. Angel is lovely and gentle and kind, but Angelus! Woah Baby! He's got the whole Creature of night/ Passionate lover/ Evil enemy thing going for him. And he is so damn funny! This man's got pizazz, character, bite ;0> Mmmm Honey, bite me, hehehe. And he is *so* obsessed by Buffy, sigh. I mean, look at all the trouble he goes to torture her! Now *that's* real love. ;0>

Ode to Angelus:

Oh Angelus, Angelus, you are so fine
You make every girl for only you pine
Oh Angelus, Angelus, drink my wine
Kill me in kiss and let me on you dine
Oh Angelus, Angelus, it's ten past nine
Hurry up and kill Buffy so you can be mine.

Becoming One: Darla tells Angel to "close your eyes" and she'll show him a whole new world. He does so, and she kills him. Becoming Two: Buffy tells Angel to "close your eyes", and when he does so, she kills him, and sends him into another world. Angel's second Becoming, poor believing boy.

Ever notice how whenever Buffy and Angel meet, they always say the other one's name as a greeting. I mean c'mon, who says a person's name when they see them - they know who they are, you don't need to inform them. Whatever happened to hi, or hey there? Oh that's right; not enough dramatic tension to match the B/A theme music!

What's the up with Willy the Stitch? I distinctly remember him having bit more of a nasty than the congenial helpful mammma's boy who appears in the bar this season. I miss the sleazy Willy who suggested taking naked photos of Buffy and Kendra, after they just threatened to mame him. Wonder if he'll show next season?

Why did they build up the B/A love thing so much before they broke it off? Bloody tragic irony.

Who was telling Angel to play the cryptic wise-guy, and when did he stop getting directions? And where did he get the money to pay for his rent, designer clothes, and blood packs? Hmmmm...

In "Halloween" Angel says that he "always wanted someone exciting, interesting". But in Earshot, he cliams that he's sick of "bad girls". Perhaps the hundred years in Hell mellowed his outlook on the opposite sex?

Note in WTTH, Cordelia exclaims to Buffy: "I've always wanted to live in L.A". Lucky call, Joss. Lucky call.

In season 3, although we as usual, were not given many Angel sightings, Joss has been building him up for the spinoff in subtle ways. Whereas in Season 2 we learnt about Angel's past (Dru, Spike, his siring, Whistler, etc), this time round, we learnt about the man himself. The romantic poet, the jealous lover, the reformed penitent, the sarcastic wit, the calmed martial artisan, the ladies' charmer, the convincing actor, the guiding advisor, the guradian angel. Can't wait for more!

If the roles had been reversed, Angel would never have sent Buffy to Hell - he is too weak.

I hope that in the Angel series, as we get to know more about him, that Angel doesn't lose the mysterious element that draws us to his character. For that to happen would in a way, defy the essence of his being.

Sheesh, what an on and off relationship B and A have had in season 3!

AMAB: Start relationship - Angel returns.
Lover's Walk - Buffy leaves Angel
Amends - Buffy returns to Angel
Enemies - Buffy leaves Angel
Earshot - Buffy returns to Angel
The Prom - Angel leaves Buffy
The Prom - Angel returns to Buffy
Graduation - Angel leaves - Relationship ends.

Woah!

In "Enemies we find out that the Mayor is more than 100 years old, and therefore not human. However in "The Prom" we learn that the Ascention is the ritual of a human turning into a demon. So, how can the Mayor, who is not human, ascend?

In Earshot Angel says that in 243 years he has loved only Buffy. Okay, so Angel is now 244 years old, is that including the years he was human? 'Cos if not, then he may have loved more women than just Buffy. Potential old lovers may be in the horizon!

At the beginning of Oz and Willow's realtionship (WML1), Willow was taller than Oz. But in graduation Oz is the same height as Willow. Seth Green is 26 years old, so he didn't have a growth spurt, did they make him wear heels or what?
