Pattern: Green (Chartreuse) Silver and Black

Hook: Alex Jackson Spey Hook

Thread: Griffon's Griffon's 14/0, Black

Tag: Silver Oval Tinsel medium 4 wraps

Ribbing: Medium Flat Silver Tinsel, Oval medium Silver Tinsel, Chartreuse ribbing doubled, tied in on top of flat tinsel, oval medium tied in under flat tinsel, two thread wraps to hold each. Four wrapped ribbing.

Counterwind: Small Oval Tinsel

Body: Paresell to even body, Uni-Yarn Black, looped tied in at head, to tail and back to head.

Spey Feather: Black dyed Blue eared Pheasant 1/2 stripped tied in at tail palmered.

Beard: Silver Pheasant 1/2 stripped butt first.

Shellback: 1/4" Bronze Mallard strip, left strip tied in first, reverse thread, right strip tied, whip finishing each strip 3 wraps.

Head: Loon's Black hard head

 

Green (Chartreuse) Silver and Black was tied by Contributing Fly Tyer, Clark Lucas, who began showing his flies on this site in 1999. Clark noted that this fly is tied in the colors (silver and black) of his favorite team, the Oakland Raiders.
