Schoolie was tied by Contributing Fly Tyer William Lovelace.   See Bill's notes below, but also read more about him, and see many more of his flies at The Flies of William Lovelace.

Bill's Notes: Anyone who ties for Salt needs to explore the book Pop Fleyes by Ed Jaworski and Bob Popovics. The Mustad 79666S has been discontinued but Dan Blanton suggests the Eagle Claw 413 jig hook as a replacement.

Since Mustad's true keel hook isn't available any longer when I run out of mine I would bend a 4X long hook or try a bend back or newer style keel hook for the Schoolie.
