Orange Matuku was tied by Contributing Fly Tyer William Lovelace.   See Bill's notes below, but also read more about him, and see many more of his flies at The Flies of William Lovelace.

Bill's Notes: I turned this Kiwi style trout fly into a bright Winter Steelhead attractor. The matuku is a New Zealand tying style named after the Matuku bird (a Maori name for the Bittern). Its feather was tied down on top of the body by ribbing in the original pattern that started this popular fly style now called the Matuka in the US.
