Iliamna Floozie

Name Iliamna Floozie
Category Pacific Salmon
Hook The pattern calls for a Daiichi 246, size 4-1/0 (I didn't have one and tied it on a Daiichi 2451.
Thread Danville hot pink flat waxed nylon
Tail Bubble gum pink marabou
Body Large hot pink Cactus Chenille overwrapped with Estaz Metallique
Hackle Large Hot-Pink Schlappen
Eyes Bead chain, nickel or stainless steel  (Judge according to size of fly and weight required)

This is another fly that I included this fly because it looked to me to be a promising fly. Again, I have not tried it yet, but will when I get out for some Silvers again, though that might not be until next year. Then again, this might just be a good Chum fly when they are taking pink flies.  It certainly resembles many similar patterns tied for Chum. Bob Triggs says that this is his adaptation of the Pink Floozie a Silver salmon fly designed by the late Ted Gerken (The reason for the convoluted originator reference in the title).
