This fly is a variant of the Copper Shrimp designed by Bill Hunter for Steelhead. The Bill Hunter recipe calls for an oval gold tinsel tag, and a body of Copper Embossed Tinsel ribbed with Gold Oval Tinsel. The body material I used here was purchased at an arts and crafts store. It's a little bulky but gives a nice copper-gold effect with sparkle. The material is very similar to edge bright, but thicker.
