Leons Fritz Shrimp

Name Leons Fritz "Shrimp"
Category Salmon/Steelhead/Trout
HookKamasan Classic Lure Extra Long, Size 8 (Or Salmon Hook of your Choice)
HeadFitted with Gold Bead (Final Tie-Off thread Black or Orange)
BodyTie thread on hook shank to half way around hook bend, then cut strip of Orange Body Flex 10mm wide. Cut one end to long point, slightly stretch the Body flex, then tie on body flex at hook bend (gloss side down). Tie on a Piece of monofilament on hook shank, tying off at hook bend (I add a little super glue. Now tie on Yellow Fritz (Or Orange as a variation) and tie off at gold bead. Leave bobbin hanging. Now stretch Body Flex over to head and tie off leaving bobbin hanging again, then wind on Monofilament to form the shell like appearance. Finally tie off thread, adding a little super glue to secure Monofilament.
CommentsGood effective shrimp pattern.
