Foundation instructors are trained and experienced in instruction by and for the Virginia Division of Forensic Science. In working with blood/breath alcohol testing/licensing authorities these men have been trained to give technical training to other police officers, by an agency not part of the law enforcement community, but of a scientific one. These instructors have been courtroom certified as experts in alcohol related issues, and possess training and years of street experience in the detection, marketing and prosecution of street drug cases. They provide testimony in their respective courts, and have been called upon to explain related information to juries.
