Yummy Biscuits

- small, buttery biscuits with a jammy centre


- 30 biscuits
4.5 dl Plain flour
1 dl Sugar
2 teaspoons Vanilla sugar (or more...)
200 g Butter
Some Sugar ("Pearl" sugar is best - it's in bigger bits)


Mix all the ingredients to form a dough. Form into a sausage about 5 cm diameter. Roll in the sugar and cut into 0.5 cm thick slices. Place on greased baking sheets and make a small dent in the middle of each biscuit with your finger. Put a blob of raspberry jam in each dent. Bake for 10 - 15 minutes at 200 o C.


For this recipe you have to use butter, they don't taste nearly as good if you use margarine. If the dough feels a bit soft to cut then you can refrigerate it for a while.
