Best Waffles

- my husband's speciality


(serves 4 "normal" people)
5 dl Plain flour
1 tsp Baking powder
15 ml Sugar
6 dl  Milk
200 g Margarine


Stir the flour, baking powder, sugar and milk together until there are no lumps. Melt the margarine and stir into the mixture. Cook in a greased waffle iron.


Serve with jam and cream or ice cream. If there are any left over (!) then they can be eaten cold with sugar. I actually like eating them (hot or cold) with cinnamon and sugar but apparently this is highly disapproved of.

Preparation time: 20 minutes
Total time: 45 minutes - cook as you eat so that everyone gets really fresh waffles
