When you don’t realize…
What’s good for you or bad,
You don’t see
What always turns you mad.
It’s not others you are hurting,
It’s yourself you’ve dug a hole.
It’s you who makes me nervous
I’m lost in your despair,
I’m scared that I won’t find you.
You are here but now you’ve gone
It’s others who have drowned you
Is my bitterness gone wrong?
I guess I’ve lost my temper
As I try to sit and watch
Your direction gone wrong again,
I’d help you but I can’t
Its memories you won’t relive
You’ve gone and worn them out
Your friends they’ve gone and turned you
And now I’m backing out.
