Robin & Patrick #4  January 23 - June 11, 2007 - 8 hour original edit

#4A  Robin returns home and overhears Pete trying to tempt Patrick. Pete believes that Robin has Patrick brainwashed, and to top it off he has wound up with a woman who has never let lose in her life! Patrick says that Pete would be surprised. Pete begs that he is Patrick's life-line and urges him to come to Vegas with him. Robin has heard enough and comes in and tells Patrick that if he wants to go to Vegas with Pete then he should go. Pete snarks that she is giving him permission like he is a little boy and Patrick knows the only acceptable answer is that he won't go. Noah shows up, just in time to drop off a housewarming present. He tells Patrick how happy he is that they have moved in together. Pete continues that thanks to Robin he is making peace with his dad, how touching, how domestic, when is the wedding? Noah interjects that Patrick should be so lucky as Robin is an extraordinary woman and marrying her would be the best move that he could make, and moving in together is a step in the right direction. Pete whispers, "I rest my case!"

Lainey, Kelly, and Robin end up at the Port Charles Police Department drunk after getting into a fight with another patron at the airport bar. They all went there to drink after Robin confided in them that Patrick was being dragged to Las Vegas with Pete to go see strippers. Mac comes in and lets Kelly and Lainey go home, but tells Robin she has to stay. Little does she know that her uncle has called Patrick. He tells Patrick that Robin is in custody for getting into a fight because of him. Patrick rushes home to bail her out an is surprised when Robin doesn't want to go home with him. Robin doesn't realize that Patrick spent the night evading strippers and flight attendants and explaining to Pete how lucky he is to have Robin in his life. He is completely in love with her.

At the Metro Court hotel, Mr. Craig and gang burst into the hotel lobby with guns blazing. The next set of scenes is a music montage of the hotel explosion, the police surround the Metro Court Hotel and watch as Sam jumps off of the hotel and runs toward them to warn them about the hotel being about to explode. Nikolas runs out of the hotel with Robin in his arms. He lays her down and Patrick runs over to check on her condition. Sam yells for Jason as Nik runs back towards the hotel to reach Emily as an explosion rocks the hotel. The scene switches to twelve hours earlier in Port Charles. Mr. Craig, disguised in a ski mask and black clothing tells everyone to stay where they are and don't move. He tells them that his men are going to go around the room and wants them to put all of their valuables inside the bags. Sam tries to push the silent alarm behind the service desk but Mr. Craig notices it and tells her to put her hands up where he can see them. She does manage to activate the alarm somehow because the police respond on the scene outside the front entrance of the hotel. Jason also shows up at the hotel and looks inside the window before the hostage-takers paint all the windows in black. He sees what is going on and tells Mac what he saw. Mac sets up the swat team and his other cops. He tells Jason that they have a protocol they follow in hostage situations.

Elizabeth takes out her cell-phone and tries get Lucky's help but Mr. Craig notices her and has his men grab for the cell-phone and rough handle her a little bit. Emily yells at them to be gentle because Elizabeth is pregnant. Maxie is standing behind the desk with Sam and makes a remark to Elizabeth about how she shouldn't endanger Lucky's baby by trying to be heroic because it was stupid. Carly steps up and tells Mr. Craig off. She tells him she is one of the owners of the hotel and that she is responsible for the welfare of her guests and employees. Mr. Craig orders everyone to take out their cell-phones, beepers, or pagers and put them in the bag. Mr. Craig makes Carly take off her engagement ring and put it in the bag also. Carly refuses to give up her ring in order to keep Mr. Craig talking so she can try to remember why his voice is so familiar to her. Sonny steps in and tries to get Mr. Craig to let her keep the ring. Carly gives up the ring anyway. Carly and Sonny try to create a diversion so that Sam can set off another silent alarm and close the vault shut. Sonny whispers to Carly that he doesn't think this is just a simple robbery and that they are here to look for something. Sonny thinks this involves the shipment that Alcazar was waiting for that made him desperate enough to try and kill him over finding out about. Sonny goes over to one of the clerks and asks him if Alcazar stored anything in the vault earlier today. Carly confronts Mr. Craig again to divert attention onto herself.

Mr. Craig has two of his men go into the vault and take a hostage with them. They grab Maxie, who protests as they drag her into the vault room. Sam hits the button behind the desk to close the vault down and Sonny motions to her not to do it just as Mr. Craig turns around. However, it is too late and the steeled door to the vault starts to close. The two men and Maxie try to get out of the vault before it closes but only one of the men escapes and Maxie ends up locked in the vault with the other guy and Alcazar's briefcase still inside with them. The other guy returns to report to Mr. Craig that the vault door shut completely and he couldn't get the briefcase out with him and the other two are sealed inside. Carly informs Mr. Craig that the vault will remained sealed for the next twelve hours before they can activate it to open again. Mr. Craig tries to not let it bother them. Sonny tells him he should leave while he can because a lot can happen in 12 hours like the police may come in and shoot them before he can get into the vault.

Suddenly Mac's voice can be heard from outside announcing the police's arrival and how the place is surrounded. Mr. Craig tells them that he won't be able to escape now and takes everyone as hostages. He tells everyone that he wants them to play a game. He has some sort of black box in his hand and tells them he is going to toss it to someone and he wants them to say their name and give themselves a nickname that tells him something about them and they get points if they rhyme. The hostages toss the box around and do what Mr. Craig asks. One of the hotel clerks freezes and can't think of a nickname and Mr. Craig points a gun at him as if he is going to kill him. Mr. Craig also takes Sonny's gun away as well. Mr. Craig shocks everyone when he takes his gun and shoots Robin all of a sudden for no real reason. He tells them he did it to show that he is in charge and they must do what he says or they will be next. Back at the hospital, Patrick tells Alcazar that he needs him to stay at the hospital so he can run some tests on him. Alcazar doesn't want to stay there and insists on going to the hotel but Skye made him go to the hospital instead. She wins and he has himself admitted for tests.

Patrick calls Robin on her cell-phone later and gets her voice-mail, unaware of what is happening at the hotel right now. He leaves a message telling her that he realized what she was trying to tell him and that he realized just now how he was acting just like patients he lectures when they are stubborn and won't have tests done. He tells her he had another HIV test done and that he loves her. Patrick comes into the Lorenzo's room and tells them that the test shows that his brain is bleeding and he needs surgery immediately because it is dangerous for them to wait. Alcazar reluctantly agrees to the surgery.

Eleven hours earlier at 6 p.m., outside Metro Court Hotel, the hostage situation has escalated. Mac ordered Rodriguez and Lucky to go inside and get as many people as possible out before things got worse. Patrick arrived to tell Skye that Alcazar was fine, but he was waiting on test results so he could remove more shrapnel. Jason let Patrick in on the news about the situation at Metro and told him he needed to wake Alcazar up, stat! They needed the access code to the briefcase and Alcazar's the only one who knows it. Meanwhile, Sonny dared Mr.Craig to shoot him/ Mr. Craig cocked his gun and pointed it at Carly, as he seethed "Ladies, first."

Later, a severely injured Robin started moaning. Alan said he was a doctor and begged the robbers to let him help her; no dice. Sonny spoke up, reminding the criminals that if they get caught they'll go to prison for good, especially for killing innocent people then asked once again if medical personnel could assist Robin. Finally the baddie allowed Elizabeth, Emily and Alan to assist Robin. Then Alan lost it and railed at Mr.Craig because he was unable to properly care for Robin in such conditions; the hooligan had Alan pistol-whipped and he fell to the ground. Nikolas offered the criminals one million dollars (admitting he was a filthy rich Cassadine) if they let Robin go. Sonny countered that he had a better offer because he had lots of power in the PC. He bartered that he'd find a way for the robbers to escape if they let Robin go; they weren't digging the proposition. Then Carly tried to create a diversion, but Sonny stopped her, demanding she not do anything he doesn't tell her to do. Mac called the "kidnappers" who smugly informed him that they'd shot Robin. Spinelli spread word to Jason, who told a shocked Patrick. One of the bad guys explains to the hostages that the entire hotel is laced with explosives so they better just sit down and relax unless they all want to die.

Ten hours earlier, Ric arrives and calls Metro Court to speak with Mr. Craig. Ric asks Mr. Craig if he can get him anything, Mr. Craig says he will think about it and hangs up. Ric tells Mac that Mr. Craig did not mention Robin and then starts to give orders to the rest of the police officers. Patrick operates on Lorenzo. Noah tells Patrick not to rush the surgery. Patrick insists that the only reason he is operating is because Lorenzo has information that can save Robin. Patrick finishes and Noah warns him that he could lose his license if anything happens to Lorenzo due to the quick surgery. Patrick says he doesn't care and is only worried about Robin. Patrick heads to Metro Court and asks Ric to call back and ask about Robin. When he does so, Mr. Craig says that Ms. Scorpio is bleeding but breathing. He is clearly angry that they did not wait for him to call back and, when asked if he can release Robin or allow supplies to be brought in to help her, he says he will think about it and hangs up.

Emily says that Robin needs surgery. Mr. Craig torments the hostages and takes a shot in Sonny's direction but hits the wall. He continues to threaten everyone with the detonator. Mr. Craig says they'll play a new game and he will pair everyone up and the one without a partner loses. Lulu inquires about what will happen if there are even people. Mr. Craig says that he will have to get rid of someone and points his gun at Elizabeth. He then has one of the mercenaries take Elizabeth to another room. Mr. Craig moves Emily away from Robin and pairs her up with Sonny. He makes Carly go and help Robin. After he is finished, it appears that Max is the odd man out and Mr. Craig holds the gun on him. Carly yells that Max needs to help her with Robin and Mr. Craig allows him to go over. Lulu is caught trying to maneuver away from the crowd, and Mr. Craig goes to her but Carly diverts the attention back to her when she again yells that she needs Emily's help. Emily gives Carly a tip on applying pressure to Robin which angers Mr. Craig. He becomes suggestive with Emily and asks what she will do for him if he allows her to help Robin. Nikolas becomes irate but the mercenaries hold him back. Emily says she will do anything and, after moving Lulu over to help Carly, Mr. Craig leaves the room with Emily. Carly tries to anger Robin but it is in an attempt to get her to hang in there. Later, Patrick starts walking up to the front of the hotel. Inside, Sam and Elizabeth are placed together. Sam asks Elizabeth about the room she was in and Sam recalls that there is a cell phone in room. She tells Elizabeth that someone needs to get in there and Mr. Craig approaches them asking about their conversation. Sam stands up and unmasks Mr. Craig.

Mr. Craig refuses to allow Patrick to enter the hotel, but does allow him to give Carly instructions on how to operate on Robin using items found in the hotel. Mr. Craig tells Carly she can pick one person to help her and she chooses Emily. Patrick gives Emily a list over the phone of items she will need to perform the operation on Robin. Mr. Craig tells Nikolas that he must go on a scavenger hunt to find the items in ten minutes or be killed. He allows Sam to go with him. They are able to come back just in the nick of time with all the items. They start the surgery and everything is going fine until an artery is cut and blood starts gushing out. Jason has Spinelli hack into the hotel's computer system where he learns that the locks will reset themselves at 11:00 pm. Jason plans on entering the hotel at that time.

Eight hours earlier, Craig pulls a gun on Elizabeth as she tries to help Robin, but he later relents to let her assist Carly and Emily. With Patrick's coaching, they are able to stop the bleeding, until Craig orders them to stop and forces Carly to stitch Robin herself. After finishing the surgery, Elizabeth and Sam are forced to clean up. They find a knife, and Sam conceals it. Skye shows up at the MetroCourt and blasts Patrick for rushing through surgery and damaging Lorenzo's memory. Mac and Patrick discuss the surgery performed on Robin. Mac tells him that if Robin survives, it's because of him. Robin is holding steady as Patrick prays for her outside. Robin wakes up and screams in pain.

Seven hours earlier, Robin wakes up in extreme pain because of the surgery done on her. She makes a lot of noise which bothers the hostage-takers. They order Emily and Elizabeth to get Robin to shut up or they will shoot her and kill her now. Elizabeth asks them if she can go to the hotel gift shop and get some pain relievers for Robin. They say no to it since aspirin won't help Robin. Lulu stands up and suggests that they give Robin some alcohol which is set up right there in the lobby to help numb Robin. They say no but Sam stands up and yells at them to let Lulu bring Robin something to help numb the pain and then Robin will stop yelling out in pain. Mr. Craig comes in the room and objects to Lulu bringing anything over to Robin since she is always causing trouble with her mouth.

Patrick is scared about Robin's surgery and fears she won't survive the surgery and get out of the hotel alive. He prays to God that she survives this. His friend Pete finds him standing outside with Mac and the other cops. He suggests that Patrick leave for awhile and take a break. Patrick tells him he doesn't want to go anywhere with Pete and that he loves Robin so much and can't imagine his life without her. He tells Pete that he told himself he would never allow himself to love a woman like his father loved his mother where her death could destroy him like it did to his father. Now he knows what his father went through. Robin drinks some vodka out of the bottle and starts to not feel any pain from the surgery. She is surprised when Emily tells her that Carly helped save her life by sewing up her wound with Patrick's guidance over the phone even though they couldn't remove the bullet. Robin asks them to make sure Patrick is taken care of if she doesn't make it and that whatever woman becomes part of his life will have a miserable time in the beginning and jokes that maybe that misery should be put on Carly. Emily and Elizabeth laugh and tell her that she needs to live because she wouldn't be able to stand it if Carly and Patrick got together. Patrick argues with Ric about calling Mr. Craig and asking for a way to get Robin out of the hotel in exchange for something Craig wants. Ric tells him that Mr. Craig doesn't want to negotiate and isn't making any demands so they can't do anything but wait.

Six hours earlier, One of the other mercenaries took mercy on Alan and allowed Emil to go and get a defibulator. Mr. Craig is furious when he learns that this has been done. He decides to make Emily decide who gets to go home, her father or her best friend. Elizabeth is dehydrated and desperately needs fluids. She is cramping badly, and everyone fears is that she will go into labor early and lose the child. Jason crawls through an air duct in order to see what's going on in the lobby.

Five hours earlier, Mr. Craig tells Emily that she must choose who leaves the hotel, Alan or Elizabeth. Alan tries to convince Emily to choose Elizabeth but Emily tells him she will assess the situation as a doctor and choose the one who needs help more. Elizabeth tells Emily that her pains are less intense and it is just from dehydration, that she knows she is not in labor. Emily tells her not to try and make it easy for her to decide. Mr. Craig yells at her to make a decision but Six tells him that the more Emily agonizes over choosing, the more fun it is for him and that he should allow her to take her time. After some time, Mr. Craig once again yells at Emily to choose and becomes forceful with her. Nikolas stands up to divert attention to himself. Mr. Craig turns to shoot him and Six again talks to him, stopping him from shooting Nikolas. Mr. Craig gets angry and decides to shoot someone else instead, Max.

Outside of the hotel, Epiphany calls Patrick to tell him he is needed at the hospital and he refuses to go. Mayor Floyd demands that Patrick be arrested for assault but Ric won't allow it. Dr. Ford arrives at the hotel to get Patrick to come to the hospital. He threatens Patrick that if he doesn't go, he will risk losing his license. Patrick says he wants to wait for Robin and Dr. Ford says that from what he knows of Robin, she would want Patrick to go to the hospital which he later decides to do. Jason enters the lobby as Emily makes her decision. She chooses Alan. Mr. Craig says that he needs to walk out on his own but after Emily becomes unruly, he allows Four and Five/Jason to walk Alan out. Once outside, snipers start firing and Alan collapses. Luke and Lucky look on from a window and Luke realizes that Alan is having a heart attack. Jason watches his father, and then turns around as Carly looks at him and realizes that he is Jason.

Four hours earlier, shots are fired between the gunman and police as Alan exits the building. He falls to the ground, holding his chest. Observing from the inside, Luke and Lucky break out of the building to help Alan. Luke fires at the sniper, while Lucky and other officers shield Alan and bring him to safety. Monica and the paramedics try to revive Alan, and he is taken off to General Hospital. Emily loses it on Craig for shooting her father, and in her rage, is about to pull off Jason's mask. Carly, who realizes that Jason is there, stops her in time. Emily asks Craig what his purpose is? Craig tries to remind the hostages that he is in charge, and tells Emily to stop her hysterics. Luke takes the megaphone, and tells Craig that the briefcase is an Equinox that will self-destruct. Luke tells him about the code that is needed to open the brief case, and that he will exchange himself and the code in return for the release of the hostages. Craig asks Lulu who the voice is, and she tells them it is her Dad. Craig opens the door with a gun held at Lulu's head. He asks for the code, or Lulu will die. He questions Luke's timing, and Luke tries to explain that Lorenzo is incapacitated. Craig insists on the code for Lulu's life. In the meantime, Skye tells police that Luke does not have the code.

Three hours earlier, as soon as Luke sees Mr. Craig put the gun to Lulu's head he gets scared and blurts out a phony code number. Nikolas and Emily talk over Robin about plans for escaping. Nikolas says he will grab Lulu and Emily says she will take Robin. Robin opens her eyes and tells them they need to leave her. Two hours earlier, Patrick finishes up his rounds at the hospital and informs Epiphany and Dr. Ford that he is leaving the hospital. Dr. Ford reminds him that he is on call still and must answer his pager if he is called in. Patrick shows up and talks to Luke outside the hotel. Luke tells him he failed in his attempt to rescue the hostages. Ric tells him that they can't do anything right now but wait to hear from Mr. Craig. Robin wakes up and calls out for Patrick. Emily and Nikolas try to calm her and tell her that Patrick is outside waiting for her right now. Robin tells them that if they make it out alive not to take anything for granted and do whatever they planned to do before but put off until now. They promise to do that but believe they will all make it out alive. Robin tells them the pain is back but it feels more far away than before.

One hour earlier, Sonny makes a deal with Mr. Craig that he will give him the rest of the code if he will let Carly go. Mr. Craig takes Carly and Sonny into the lobby and explain to the rest of the hostages that Mr. Corinthos will be providing the access code once Spinelli gets the vault open. Mr. Craig takes Lulu and Spinelli to the vault, where Spinelli enters a code and it opens. When Mr. Craig sees the briefcase he realizes that Sonny and Luke weren't lying. Three is hesitant, but hands over the briefcase. Sonny tries to convince Mr. Craig to let all the hostages go, but he will only go with the original plan. Mr. Craig opens the briefcase with the password Sonny provides and he tells Carly she can go. Carly refuses to leave Sonny's side, though. Epiphany is setting up a triage center nearby. Patrick is impressed they have the triage set up so quickly, but Dr. Ford quickly interrupts and tells him that he's not the only one who can think of the hostages.

Back inside the hotel, Mr. Craig is distracted so Jason gives Sam the signal to make her escape. Sam rushes outside just as the cops turn the lights out. She warns them that the lobby is rigged with explosives. As the police start to throw tear gas into the hotel, Jason tackles Mr. Craig to keep him from detonating the explosives. The SWAT team enters the hotel and chaos erupts. There's a mad dash for the door, but the tear gas keeps people from being able to see the exits. Nikolas carries Robin out. Three helps Maxie out. Lulu and Spinelli run out together. Sonny and Carly hide behind a couch. Jason finds Elizabeth and tries to rescue her. Outside, Nikolas is updating Patrick on Robin's status when he realizes that Emily isn't there with him. He starts to go back inside when the hotel explodes.

In the aftermath of the explosion, the Metro Court is a pile of rubble and bodies are everywhere. We are shown a replay of the preceding events mixed in with views of the devastation. Rescuers go inside to look for victims. Patrick carries Robin to a gurney. Once at the hospital, Patrick tells Kelly that Robin needs surgery. He is reassured when Robin wakes up. In her hospital room after the surgery, Robin tells Patrick when a person saves another person, they "own" them. Patrick kisses her.

Nikolas and Emily arrive at GH to see Robin. Emily apologizes to Robin for not getting the bullet out. Robin thanks them for saving her life, and Emily promises a girls' night out at Jake's soon. Robin asks Patrick to take his HIV test again. He tells her that losing her would have been the worst thing ever. Robin is wheeled off at Patrick looks on. Robin wakes up from surgery to find Patrick there with her in her hospital room. He tells her he is leaving and that she needs to get her rest. Robin asks him to stay awhile. They end up talking about who is more bossy. Mac, Georgie, and Maxie show up to see her. Mac tells her that she needs to go and move back in with Patrick so that he doesn't have to worry about her going to stay in some hotel where she can get into trouble. Later, Robin and Patrick are alone. Robin tells him she owes him an apology and explains that it wasn't fair of her to expect Patrick to suddenly take an HIV test without not wanting to avoid it and how Alan reminded her that when he told her she needed to be tested again, she refused to do it too. Patrick tells her she was right to tell him to take the test and that he is planning to take the test right now. A person from the lab comes in and he has the blood test while holding Robin's hand. Patrick tells her he loves her.

Patrick takes Robin back to Mac's house once she is released from the hospital. She admits that had she not got shot, Alan may still be alive today. She was the only doctor that was a hostage and she probably could have saved him from a simple heart attack. Patrick tells her not to worry about what was done in the past. He's just happy to have her safe with him. Mac and the girls arrive home and are happy to see Robin. Mac is called away but before he goes he jokes to Patrick and Robin that this is his house and his rules so no guys are sleeping over.

Patrick is on the phone with the lab, they have his test results. He is HIV negative. He shares the good news with Robin but is quickly interrupted by a colleague requesting a consultation. After he leaves, Robin is visited by Lainey. She confides in her that she is afraid, now that Patrick is in the clear, he will revert to his old ways. Later on, Patrick returns with flowers. When Robin inquires about the consult and the doctor, Patrick tells her that he told his colleague all about the woman he loves. Robin and Patrick come to offer their condolences at the Quartermaine mansion. Ned eulogizes Alan, acknowledging his virtues and flaws. After lamenting about being cooped up inside and stuck in her wheelchair, Robin got Patrick to promise her a surprise if she behaves and does what the doctors tell her to do. Patrick then surprised her with a beautiful outdoor picnic at Robin's favorite place in the park. It is decorated with beautiful fresh flowers, and snow! He pours her a hot drink and tenderly wraps her up in a blanket. She muses how happy she is right now, surviving the hostage situation and him being negative for HIV. They happily counted their blessings and reveled in their romance.

Patrick comes into the Scorpio's where Robin is recooperating to find her working and admonishes her. She tells him she is just doing some research. She tells him that he can tell her that he loves her or that she is sexy but he can't tell her to rest or take it easy, that she can think of a MUCH better way to spend their time together and leans in and kisses her. He holds her on the couch and says maybe he should rethink being a doctor, the hours, the responsibility, and he has to be in the hospital in 15 minutes when he would rather stay here with her. She laughs that is until he is paged and is able to show off his surgical brillance! He determines that he will call in sick! She is shocked, then he says that he will say she has taken a turn for the worse. She promises that if he goes to work that she won't do anymore research but she will plan a vacation for them, perhaps the South Pacific!

Robin shows up to the hospital to consult about a patient's drug therapy. Patrick is surprised and concerned about her being back to work too soon. Robin promises only to work half days until she is totally healed but doesn't want him to tell her what to do.

#4B  Dr. Ford approaches them and asks Robin what she is doing back to work so soon and tells her that unless she is there for her own appointment or for physical therapy she is to leave the hospital premises. Monica is there to witness the whole conversation when Robin defends herself to Dr. Ford who isn't listening to her and is giving her orders to leave. Monica steps in and tells Dr. Ford that he is not the Chief of Staff yet and that this isn't his call to make about Robin's condition. Dr. Ford tells them that he is just looking out for the hospital's best interests in case Robin collapses right in the hospital and/or makes a bad medical judgment with a patient and the hospital becomes liable for it because she came back to work when she wasn't fully healed yet. Robin stops the argument from going further and agrees to leave the hospital this time because Alan was her doctor and mentor and she doesn't want to see Monica get into any trouble because of her. She leaves. Patrick tells Dr. Ford off for lacking any compassion as a doctor and only thinking of the hospital as a business to protect. He tells him that he use to be that way but isn't anymore because of how his life has changed. Patrick finds Robin sitting on the docks. He sits with her and the two of them discuss how sex could be a good therapy for her and that she would heal a lot faster under his tender loving care. Robin tells him to take her home right now.

Mr. Craig injects Nikolas with a poison that needs an antidote to be given every 24 hours. He tells him to cooperate and explains that he needs a new identity and a way to keep accepting shipments. Nik refuses to agree until the poison leaves him gasping for breath and Mr. Craig assures him he will be dead within 30 minutes. Finally given no choice Nik agrees and Mr. Craig gives Nikolas a counter agent for the drug he injected him with. Nik is still resistant to helping him and Mr. Craig asks if he will have to kill someone that has sentimental value to Nik before he gets the message? Nik relutantly agrees.

Robin gets ready for a lunch date with Patrick. Patrick shows up and plans for her to move back in with him and tells her he is going to help her move her things back into his place. She surprises him when she tells him she isn't ready to move back in with him and wants to live with Mac and her cousins for now. Patrick tries to talk her into moving back in with him but she tells him that she doesn't think it is a good idea for them to move in together since the last time she did that it didn't work out so well. Patrick packs her things at his apartment and comes back with most of her things. He tells her he left some of her things at his place since she probably will spend some nights at his place. Robin admits she plans on doing that but not moving in. They end up making out on the couch. Patrick is concerned about fooling around with her at her uncle's house and having someone walk in. Robin tells him there is no one but them there and it is okay. As Robin takes her shirt off and they make out, Georgie shows up unexpectedly and interrupts them. Georgie is all apologetic about disturbing them and claims she is just going upstairs to get her laptop and is leaving for the library. Robin realizes that Patrick has a point about how they won't have as much privacy as they would be if she moved back into his apartment with him. Robin changes her mind and tells him she will move back in with him. Georgie comes downstairs and asks Patrick if there is anything else she can do for him not realizing Robin is in earshot. Robin realizes that Patrick asked Georgie to show up suddenly to interrupt them so that he could persuade Robin to move back in with him. Georgie realizes what she has done and tries to backpedal but Robin realizes Patrick tried to trick her by using Georgie's help. Georgie leaves them alone to talk. Robin makes him admit to what he did. He confesses that he did call Georgie and ask her to show up to help him. Robin tells him that despite the fact that they love each other to death they are so incompatible.

Patrick refused to believe he and Robin were cursed. "You can't stand me!" Robin pointed out, claiming she was trying to "preserve" her and Patrick. He was understandably confused. "I love you!" he cried. Robin claimed they were moving too fast and kept citing their "incompatibility." "You're a control freak with abandonment issues," Patrick diagnosed. The duo went around in circles about living together. Then, she kicked Patrick out into the rain and wept. Soaked Patrick ended up getting coffee from Georgie at Kelly's and telling her that her cousin is "certifiable." Where was Robin? Magically at Wyndemere tending to Craig's wound. Nikolas was shocked.

Patrick and Georgie talk about Robin and come up with a plan to once again try and get Robin to leave the Scorpio house and move back in with him. Nikolas and Robin are at Wyndemere with Mr. Craig. Nikolas tries to get her to leave but Mr. Craig won't allow it. He tells her to redress his wound while he tells Nikolas how he coerced Robin into staying there. Robin tells Nikolas she was coming to the castle to ask if she can rent a room when Mr. Craig startled her. Mr. Craig tells them that Robin will move in and tend to Nikolas while he suffers from the symptoms of the drug that was injected. He further tells them that they will go along like nothing has changed and to not let on to anyone. Robin leaves to go pack her things and stops by the hospital to pick up syringes for Mr. Craig. There, she runs into Patrick who is angry when he finds out she is moving in with Nikolas.

While Mr. Craig continues to terrorize Nikolas, Robin and Patrick argue about her moving into Wyndemere. Although she insists that Nikolas is one of her closest friends, Patrick senses that she is hiding something from him. Robin head over to Wyndemere, and finds Nikolas suffocating on the couch. She pleads with Craig to give him the antidote. Craig reminds Robin that if she doesn't cooperate, he will see to it that Patrick becomes a quadriplegic. Later, Patrick approaches Mac and tells him that he is worried about Robin. He doesn't think her move to Wyndemere makes any sense, and knows something is wrong. Mac does not see reason for concern, given her long friendship with Nikolas.

Back at Wyndemere, Nikolas appears to be doing better after being given the temporary anti-venom for the poison. Robin wants to try and find a way to get a blood sample to the lab. Mr. Craig comes in and tells them that he wants everyone to believe the two have fallen in love with each other. They balk at the idea, but while they are talking, Robin secretly pokes Nikolas' hand with a pin. Mr. Craig has decided to allow Robin to continue working at the hospital, so Robin makes her exit with the pin that has Nikolas' blood on it. She gets to the hospital where Patrick is anxiously waiting for her to arrive. He had talked to Alexis previously, who also thought the living arrangements were strange between Nikolas and Robin. Alexis agreed to go over and talk to Nikolas about what was going on. Robin rushes past Patrick and talks to her favorite lab tech about running the tests on the bloody pin as quickly and secretly as possible. Patrick wants to know what's going on, but they are once again interrupted by Noah who is talking about signing a petition about how the hospital is starting to refuse patients without insurance. Robin quickly signs the petition and leaves.

Patrick shows up at Wyndemere to confront Nikolas about why Robin moved in with him. James Craig watches them talk from afar and holds his gun to show Nikolas he holds all the cards and could kill Patrick if he doesn't do what he wants. Nikolas claims he is just friends with Robin and that Robin asked to stay there for awhile. Patrick thinks there is more going on with Robin than he is letting on. Nikolas doesn't know what else he can say to Patrick to get him to leave. Robin shows up and tries to get Patrick to give her some space to think about their relationship and what she wants. Patrick thinks she is hiding something else from him and that she doesn't seem to trust him enough to tell him. Robin tells him to stop badgering her right now and give her the space she needs. Patrick feels betrayed by her since she acts like she doesn't love him anymore. He storms out.

Later, Patrick shows up at Kelly's and finds Alexis outside. He tells her that Robin is pushing him away for no real reason and that she is living with Nikolas and won't tell him why. Alexis tries to give him advice and reassure him that Nikolas is in love with Emily not Robin. Patrick tells her that he is free again and is going to play the field again. Later, James Craig seems to be enjoying the drama between Robin and Patrick and thinks that the only way Robin and Nikolas will be able to keep their loved ones away and prevent them from investigating their behavior is if they pretend to be in love. Nikolas and Robin are totally against this since no one would believe they are suddenly in love since they have been friends only for years. Craig tells them that they can use the hostage situation as the reason they fell in love because Nikolas saved Robin by carrying her out of the hotel before the explosion. They still argue with Craig about it but he makes it clear that if they don't do what he says he will hurt Patrick and Emily. Later, Alexis gets the shock of her life when she shows up at Wyndemere and finds Nikolas making out with Robin on the couch. Nikolas and Robin break apart when they hear Alexis come in and Robin starts to button up her blouse. They announced that they're in a relationship now as a lurking Mr. Craig looked on. Alexis said she's not one to judge. She asked Nik if she could bring Kristina by later to pick wildflowers for a school project. He said of course. After Alexis left, Craig emerged from hiding and said the duo needs to be more convincing in their lies. They argued that nobody who knows them would fall for the act, but Craig insisted they keep it up. He also suggested that if they do some method acting and really show passion, Robin and Nikolas just might fall in love for real. When he left the room, Robin and Nik secretly plotted to find a way out of their precarious situation by outsmarting the nefarious Mr. Craig.

At the hospital, Patrick asked Kelly out on a date but she realized that he just wants to get back at Robin and said she won't be his rebound girl. She handed him the phone to call Robin, but he responded that he's done trying to understand her actions when she refuses to open up to him. Meanwhile, Robin fretted to Nik that Patrick was probably hitting on every nurse at the hospital. She then called G.H. to make sure they put a rush on the "tox screen" she wanted. Craig walked in and smirked. He again reminded her to do as he says or else she'll be responsible for Nik's death. Afterward, Robin advised Nikolas not to be too mouthy with Craig. Patrick unloaded to Kelly about Robin. Kelly encouraged him to pursue the romance, but he felt it was too late and blamed himself for losing her.

Robin argued with Nikolas over going along with Mr. Craig's plan, especially since her best lab tech couldn't figure out what Nik is being poisoned with. She lamented hurting Patrick so soon after he learned to open up, but Nik advised against telling Patrick the truth. At GH, Patrick berated Epiphany over her filing system just as Lainey arrived and suggested he talk to a professional. Lainey invited herself to dinner and the opera with Patrick, as a way to defend Robin's interests. Mr. Craig goes for a ride on one of the stable horses and Robin comes home with some disturbing news. She tells Nikolas that she had to tell Emily that they are having an affair. He asks if she was mad, but Robin says she just walked away. Patrick apologizes to Emily about how she found out about Nikolas and Robin. She tells him that she doesn't buy it. All Robin talked about during the hostage crisis was Patrick. How are they supposed to believe that all that love just disappeared. Emily decides to go to Wyndemere herself, but is stunned when she walks in on Robin and Nikolas in an embrace.

Emily walks in on Nikolas and Robin making out on the couch. Robin and Nikolas pull apart. Robin stands up immediately and apologizes to Emily about her having to see them together this way. Emily tells Robin to leave the room so she can talk to Nikolas alone. Nikolas makes up some story while James Craig watches them nearby about how he and Robin got close when she was staying at the Metro Court and how he realized that he had feelings for Robin. He tells Emily that he didn't want to break her heart but he can't deny his feelings for Robin anymore. Emily stops him from explaining anymore and asks him when this happened since they were just together and he told her he loved her. Nikolas tries to explain but Emily doesn't believe him and kisses him instead and tells him that something isn't right about all this. She leaves the room and heads back to work. James Craig comes into the room and tells Nikolas that either he is a really bad actor or Emily is one extraordinary woman for being so loyal to him after what he has done to her.

Robin goes back to work and gets on the computer to check something when Patrick sees her. He starts to harass her about her new life with Nikolas in front of his father. Noah asks her what is going on. Patrick tells him that they are no longer a couple and Robin has a new life without him now. Emily also eventually comes back to work and tells Patrick that she just saw Nikolas and doesn't believe he is telling her the truth about his relationship with Robin and something isn't right. Patrick thinks she is just in denial and offers a shoulder to cry on. Patrick is impatient and short with the nurses about his patient files. Noah steps in and defuses the situation. Robin goes back to Wyndemere and asks Nikolas if Craig is there? Nikolas tells her he isn't right now. Robin tells him that she doesn't know if she can do this thing that Craig wants them to do and that she has to see Patrick every day at work and pretend she doesn't love him when all she wants to do is tell him she still loves him and tell him what Craig is doing. Nikolas feels bad also because he is breaking Emily's heart again when he promised himself he wouldn't ever do that again.

Robin attends to Alexis, and Alexis asks Robin to check on Christina and Mr. Brosnan. Robin is shocked to learn Craig is in the hospital! Craig is in the lobby showing Christina how to play Baccarat. Patrick approaches them and introduces himself to Mr. Brosnan. They briefly talk about Alexis's condition. An upset Robin pulls Patrick aside and blasts him for putting her down in front of a patient's family and argues with Patrick for interfering. He looks at her in shock and asks what has happened to her (she is upset to see Craig in the hospital talking to Patrick). He walks off and Robin forces Craig to leave as well. After Robin leaves Christina with Alexis, the child tells her mother that Mr. Brosnan is nice and he speaks in different voices, making the sharp Alexis even more suspicious of the mysterious stranger.

At the hospital, the doctors frantically tried to tend to the shootout victims. Spinelli began rapping (seriously!) for the doctors. "Do you have a head injury?" asked Epiphany. After, Spinelli bugged Robin and Patrick for information on Sonny. Patrick wondered if the teen belonged in the psych ward. Jason went to see Patrick, who told him that Sonny had a concussion. Later, Robin tells Sonny that she and Patrick broke up, and that she is now with Nikolas. Sonny seems surprised at the news. Patrick confronts Robin about her and Nikolas. He knows she is lying. He asks her if she's being forced into this relationship. Robin denies anything else is going on. She says that her relationship with Nikolas is easy. Nothing is expected on either side. Patrick doesn't buy it and tells her that what really hurts is that she doesn't trust him enough to tell him what's going on and save their relationship. Robin is talking to the lab tech about the toxin screenings they are doing on Nikolas. The lab tech can't isolate the toxins. Patrick overhears their conversation after trying to get the lab results himself. When Maxie approaches and tells him she can't believe Robin left him, Patrick decides that maybe she can help. Maxie goes and manages to swipe the lab results. Patrick is confused as to why a toxin screening is being kept so secretive. When Robin gets back to Wyndemere, Mr. Craig tells her about their visitors for the day. Robin is concerned that Mr. Craig was seen, but he assures her that he hid.

Patrick shows up at Wyndemere to spy on Nikolas and Robin in hopes of finding out what is really going on. He overhears James Craig talking to them about how they are suppose to act around each other in public and makes threats to Nikolas about the poison. Patrick recognizes his voice as the man he talked to on the phone outside the hotel when he was trying to get medical help for Robin. He realizes the man is the one who shot Robin and held everyone hostage and he has Robin and Nikolas under his thumb now. He almost gets caught when he bumps into the wall lightly and makes a small noise. Craig calls out and asks who is there? Patrick doesn't answer and takes off while Nikolas explains that he has plenty of staff that make noise all day long and not to worry about it. Craig doesn't investigate to see who is out in the hallway but makes it clear to Nikolas that he won't hesitate to kill any of his staff if they get in his way or annoy him.

Craig brings up the guardianship of Laura and how he wants Nikolas to stop focusing on it and give over guardianship to Luke. Robin asks Nikolas what is going on with Laura? Nikolas tells her that Luke came by and wanted him to turn over guardianship of Laura to him even though Laura set it up that way before she relapsed. Robin tells him that he needs to go by Laura's wishes and be her guardian. Craig doesn't like Robin putting her two cents in about it and tells her she is a goody two-shoes. Craig asks Nikolas about Laura and what is wrong with her? He tells him that she is catatonic. Craig takes things too far and rattles Nikolas' cage when he calls Laura a "vegetable" who should be put out of her misery. Nikolas grabs Craig and threatens him to leave his mother out of this or else. Craig takes out his gun and puts up to Nikolas' head. Nikolas tells him that he needs to stay out of his mother's business and not to go visit her or else he will not help him anymore and doesn't care if that means he will let the poison kill him. Craig backs off and agrees to keep away from Laura. Craig takes off and Robin and Nikolas talk alone. Robin tells him that he needs to accept Laura's wishes for him to be her legal guardian. Nikolas understands that but doesn't want this to trigger Craig's impatience and have him go after his mother to get to him. Nikolas sees how sad Robin looks and asks her if she misses Patrick a lot. She tells him that she does miss him and right now Patrick would have lectured her about butting into Nikolas' business if he was there right now. Later,

Craig goes for a walk outside and hears a noise from behind him. He turns around just as Patrick hits him in the head several times with a big heavy tree branch and confronts him with the knowledge that he knows who he is and what he did to Robin and everyone at the hotel. He does make the mistake of taking out his cell-phone to call the cops and that gives Craig the chance to turn the tables on him. He kicks out and trips Patrick and knocks him to the ground. Craig gets on top of him and uses his fists to beat Patrick repeatedly in the face. He almost knocks Patrick totally unconscious. He plans to throw his body over the cliff. Robin runs over to them and screams at Craig to stop him. Robin stops Nikolas from killing Mr. Craig. She explains that if Mr. Craig dies so does Nikolas. Mr. Craig says Patrick ruined everything. Robin says that no one has to die, everyone can work together. Patrick gets updated on what Mr. Craig is doing to Nikolas in exchange for a new identity. Mr. Craig and Nikolas leave to go back to Wyndemere, and Patrick and Robin talk about how everything that happened between them was because of Mr. Craig. Surprisingly, Patrick understands and they hug. When Patrick and Robin show back up at Wyndemere, Craig asks if the police will be coming soon. Patrick tells him that no cops will be coming and Robin explains that Patrick is willing to cooperate. Mr. Craig is pleased, but decides that too many people know he is there as a guest and plans must change.

Mr. Craig torments Robin, Patrick and Nikolas with a gun. He tells Patrick and Robin to continue their charade or they will die. Once they leave, Nikolas asks Mr. Craig why he continues to stay in Port Charles? Nikolas tells him that he will be recognized and needs plastic surgery. Mr. Craig responds, saying that he doesn't know if he wants to get plastic surgery again, he says that he hasn't had his face for very long. When Nikolas comments that it must be hard not having anyone to trust, Mr. Craig tells him he has his fiancée. At GH, Noah sees Patrick's black eye, he assumes that he is backsliding after the breakup. Patrick tells Robin he is going to help her isolate the toxin but she refuses his help. Noah overhears and believes they are allowing their personal drama to effect their working together on patient care and he lectures them. Robin apologizes and says it won't happen again and leaves. Robin and Patrick meet up in the locker room. Robin demands to know why he ordered the TOX screen? He insists he is going to help her. She worries that if he gets involved that it will antagonize Craig and put his life at risk. Patrick tells her that as much as he hates this situation it is better than believing she bailed on him. She promises that she will never bail on him and they kiss. Emily is shocked to enter and find them making out. Jax receives a phone call about his wedding to Carly and he tells him how much he wants him to be there. The camera turns to Jerry as he tells Jax he will not be able to attend and the audience is shocked to learn that Jerry who is none other than Mr. Craig!

Emily tries to ask Patrick if he is back with Robin, but he brushes her off as Noah approaches them about challenging Dr. Ford. He has instituted a new hospital policy where patients are turned away who cannot afford treatment. Later, Emily confronts Robin about the kiss she saw between Robin and Patrick. Robin insists that Emily misunderstood, and that she just has to accept that she has lost Nikolas. Robin calls Patrick and tells them they need to be more careful about their relationship. They have to keep up appearances that Robin and Nikolas are falling in love. Meanwhile, Emily goes to Wyndemere and demands an explanation from Nikolas. He tells her they are over and he wants her to leave. Robin arrives and yells at Emily, causing her to flee. Mr. Craig wants to know who spilled the beans, because Emily had hope in her eyes. When Nikolas leaves, Mr. Craig tells Robin that Nikolas is too romantic for his own good. Robin thinks Mr. Craig provokes Nikolas, but Mr. Craig says he just likes to bring out people's weaknesses. Outside, Nikolas walks through the gardens of Wyndemere when Emily comes out from behind the bushes. Emily approaches Nikolas and tells him she will not let him push her away. Nikolas confesses to her that Mr. Craig is Mr. Brosnan. He explains how Mr. Craig broke in and injected Nikolas with poison. Emily wants to rush Nikolas to the hospital, but he tells her he can't and further explains the situation. Emily will not leave, and tells him that she loves him and they will get through this together and they kiss.

Nikolas and Robin attended the wedding together. Nik told Robin that Emily knows about the ruse. When Patrick pretended to flirt with Emily, she confessed she knew the truth and Robin. As the priest talks, the citizens of Port Charles look at their loved ones during the passionate speech. When the priest asks if anyone objects, thankfully, no one does. They saw their vows and exchange rings and are pronounced man and wife. Outside the reception, Robin and Patrick sneak a kiss. Robin knows they have to be careful, and they talk about how Alexis wanted to bring Mr. Craig. Patrick asks how Nikolas is doing and if any progress has been made on the counter-agent to the poison. Robin says she is keeping an eye on Nikolas. Although she has to pretend to be in love with Nikolas, she kisses Patrick one more time.

Craig tells Nik that he's going to pay (he answered his cell phone when Mrs. Jax called, not shown) and prepares a needle. Nikolas prods him on who called, a sister, a mom? Jerry/Craig tells him not to worry about it; he needs to be more concerned about his son who is going to be an orphan. Nikolas tries to convince Jerry/Craig that he won't be able to make it out of the airport. Craig pulls out another needle of poison and says it is for Emily. The two men start to fight. Nikolas grabs the needle and pushes it into Jerry/Craig who is surprised he had the guts to do that. Nikolas thinks he will have to stay now, but Jerry/Craig tells him to get his life and will in order and proceeds to leave. Robin talks to Patrick about the blood scan on Nikolas. They still don't have any answers to the counter-agent. Emily approaches to talk to Patrick and Robin warns them they need to be careful as not to be seen. They all disburse and Nikolas comes to tell Emily that he only has five hours to live unless they can come up with a counter-agent.

Nikolas shows up at the hospital feeling very weak and tells Emily that James Craig a.k.a. "Jerry Jacks" has left town and taken the counter-agent with him. He tells them that unless they find out what the counter-agent is, he has less than 6 hours to live. Patrick and Robin show up and find out what is going on. Robin worries that they won't find the counter-agent to the poison in time to save Nikolas. Patrick feels that they are much closer to finding it and that they need just a little more time to find the missing part of the formula. Robin is paged over the loud speaker and has to go check on a patient. Patrick has Nikolas admitted into a room and put on fluids to keep him from getting dehydrated. Emily stays by his side. Patrick enters his room and tells them that they are getting closer to finding the counter-agent but that it could take one hour or one more day to find it. Nikolas realizes his time is running out. He tells Emily that he loves her and wants her to raise his son if he doesn't make it. Emily doesn't want him to think that way and she thinks they can get to him in time. Nikolas tells her that they can't guarantee that they can help him in time or that the counter-agent will actually work. He tells Emily that he wants her to get in contact with his family so he can see all of them in case he doesn't make it. He tells Emily that he is sorry for making her think he didn't love her anymore. Patrick and Robin rush into his room and tell him they think they have the counter-agent and it will work but they aren't 100% sure that it will work. Nikolas tells them not to wait any longer and give it to him now.

The counter agent isn't helping Nikolas. He tells Emily not to put him on life support. She talks about how it helped Lucky, but he says she needs to let go. Patrick tells him that keeping him alive is his job. Emily reminds him that if he dies, Craig/Jerry wings. Nikolas doesn't want to suffocate. He wants to see people before he dies. Robin agrees to put him on a respiratory. If that doesn't work, they will honor his wishes. When Robin and Patrick leave, Nikolas asks Emily not to fight his wishes and to take care of Spencer. Emily says he will be around to do that and Nikolas says he hopes so. He wants to talk to Spencer. Emily tells him that Spencer will be there soon. Nikolas tells Emily to tell Spencer he loves him if they don't make it in time. Emily wants to know why he's convinced he's going to die. She reminds him that he willed her to live through the cancer. He says he doesn't want to leave her. Outside, Patrick and Robin talk about Craig. Robin wants to call for help, but Patrick says Craig is just trying to scare them. Spencer does arrive in time. Nikolas spends time hugging his son and telling him he loves him. He wanted to give him wonderful opportunities in life. He loves him, no matter where he is. Nikolas is put on oxygen, but tries to remove the mask to talk to Emily. He tries to tell her he loves her but goes into distress. Patrick tries to get Nikolas to breathe. A Code Blue is called on Nikolas. He is shocked, intubated and resuscitated, and becomes comatose. After a close call with Lucky who pulled him over in traffic to warn him about a road closure, Craig/Jerry shows up at the hospital and gives Patrick the counter-agent for Nikolas. He comes to and Patrick informs him that Craig showed up just in time. Nikolas worries about what will happen next time? Patrick reassures him that he saved some of the serum and they are analyzing it. Patrick obtains the antidote from Craig at the hospital. Nikolas wakes up, and tells Emily, Robin and Patrick that Craig has a family. He thinks this might be the Achilles heel they are looking for.

Patrick and Robin talk about the counter-agent. Patrick thinks Craig/Jerry is up to something. Either way, Nikolas doesn't have much time left. Meanwhile, Craig/Jerry stops Emily and tells her she isn't going anywhere. He tells her they have a business trip to go on, but Nikolas protests. Emily and Craig/Jerry leave and go to a bank to set up a new account. Craig/Jerry says he wants the account in his fiancée Emily's name. Emily knows that if she signs the paperwork, she can be held legally responsible for Craig/Jerry's evil deeds. She doesn't feel she has a choice, though. Back on the plane, Craig/Jerry drinks to his success. Robin and Patrick tell Nikolas they've found the recipe for the counter agent. Nikolas wants it right away, but Robin and Patrick want to wait for Emily. What if it doesn't work?

James Craig (a.k.a. Jerry Jacks) flies on Nikolas' private jet with Emily to return to Port Charles. He offers her a glass of champagne to celebrate the deal he forced her to sign to protect Nikolas. Emily refuses the glass. She questions him about how he can have no empathy for anyone and asks him if there is anyone in his life that he would do anything for to save them. At the hospital, Nikolas tells Robin and Patrick to give him the counter-agent they managed to figure out from the amount they took from James Craig's formula. Robin and Patrick are reluctant to give him a larger dose because it could have life-threatening side-effects and they want him to know how risky it is for him to take it. He insists they give it to him either way. They give it to him and then Emily arrives and finds out what they did. She starts to panic when she sees how weak Nikolas is and how he hasn't responded well to the counter-agent they injected him with. Emily gets upset with Robin and Patrick for giving it to him without talking to her first. They tell her that Nikolas gave them permission to do it and that he insisted. James Craig shows up dressed in disguise as a surgeon in scrubs so no one will see recognize him and listens in outside of Nikolas' door to find out what is happening to Nikolas. Nikolas starts to respond to the dosage of counter-agent. Robin and Patrick run his blood tests through the lab and find that there is no sign of the poison in his body and that their formula worked. However, Craig comes into the room and rains on their parades when he informs them that he just forced Emily to sign some papers and warns them that if they try to have him arrested, Emily will also be arrested with him and charged with treason also.

Jerry explains how he has set up Emily to be a part of his treason by putting a bank account in her name. Patrick is upset that they are still under Jerry's evil hand. They realize they can't do anything until they figure out who Jerry was talking to on the phone. They are searching for the mystery woman. Robin and Patrick agree they are all in this together with Nikolas and Emily. They leave and Patrick asks Robin if they can go home. She asks if they are going to his place and he says yes and they kiss. Robin and Patrick kiss after calling in late to the hospital. They rush to get ready and Robin mentions how she hates being rushed. Patrick tells she should move in so she knows where everything is at. She sidesteps the question and tells him they will talk about it later. Emily, Patrick and Robin fill Noah in on the details of the virus and the charade they were all playing. Once back at Patrick's place, he asks Robin to move back in. She informs him that she doesn't think their relationship would last if she moved in. Patrick accuses Robin of having no faith in him. She questions why she wants to spend so much time with him, when she knows that she drives him crazy. Robin tells him all she wants is honesty. They argue over the MetroCourt crisis and his trip to Vegas. She thinks they are great in a crisis, but not good everyday. They end up making love, and Robin admits that he makes her happy.

Three attractive and flirtatious women show up at GH looking for Dr. Patrick Drake. One of them injured her ankle, and their doctor in San Diego referred them to Patrick. Robin suggest they see a orthopedist, as Patrick is a neurosurgeon. Patrick insists that he will help and leads them off for treatment. Robin checks in on them to see if they need help, and Patrick explains to the girls that Robin is his girlfriend. Emily notices Robin is annoyed. She tells her about Patrick's new "patients", and they observe Patrick discharging the injured girl and her friends. A disgusted Robin confronts Patrick. They argue over treating patients, and she tells him to meet her at his apartment at the end of the day.

Robin watches as Patrick gives tips to a young nurse and starts to help Emily study for an exam. Emily stands up for Robin and tells Patrick that when he tries to help, he does it by flirting. Scott shows up for Laura's medical records, and Patrick says if it was up to him he wouldn't release them to him. Scott tells him he's got Laura's best interests at heart. Patrick witnessed Laura's wedding to Luke and says taking her away from Luke is petty and vindictive. Scott thinks a judge will rule in his favor and asks Robin if there's a chance Laura could come back. She says if she finds something, she will notify the family only. After Scott leaves, Robin and Patrick thank each other for their help in dealing with Scott. Robin and Patrick talk about Jason. They both think that maybe Jason is the reason why Robin is so protective of her own heart. Robin and Jason both loved and trusted each other completely before they broke each other's hearts. She reminisces about how she had a crush on Jason in high school. They helped each other through Jason's accident and Stone's illness. Eventually, they fell in love. She was the one that introduced Jason to Sonny. She regrets that and wishes he had chosen a different path. He asks if she still carries a torch for Jason, but she replies that the only one she carries a torch for is him. Epiphany tries to play matchmaker with Stan and Lainey. Patrick plays interference. Then, a woman arrives at the hospital holding her baby. She needs medical treatment and Robin takes her baby. Patrick watches her hold the baby and he gets a very odd look on his face.
