DVD #22A 6/19 Bo asks Hope not to push him, she promised to back off. A beautiful Hope wearing her wedding dress begs him to tell her what he is involved in. He grabs her hand and pulls her off with him. Bo fills Hope in and tells her that Ernesto is alive and has a plan to get revenge against Victor. Recap of him filling her in on Ernesto’s plan to replace him with fake Bo, with Johnny after plastic surgery.

She grabs him and tells him how much she has missed him these past few weeks. He tells her he has missed her too. He wants her to go back up on deck, she begs for just two minutes alone together. He denies her that it is just too dangerous. He will feel much better when she is off this boat. She refuses to leave knowing he is fighting for them, for their future.

Ernesto is not pleased with his friend Johnny for switching the guns. Isabella is shocked to come face to face with her father. He lies to her and says he was forced to fake his own death. Victor arrives at Roman’s door and tells him that he thinks he knows who was behind the play, Ernesto Toscano. Roman says that is interesting given he is dead.

6/20 On deck, Hope confides in Julie that she has a bad feeling, something terrible is going on and she is afraid for her and Bo. She tells Julie that what he is involved with is very dangerous. Julie encourages her that what she is waiting for is very worthwhile. Julie invites Victor to join her for dining and dancing, dressed in a formal gown. He is suspicious but agrees as he will enjoy figuring out what she is up to. She slips Bo a note from Hope to meet at their secret place.

Bo is grabbed by a couple of Ernesto’s goons dressed in crew uniforms. He is beaten up and given a warning that Ernesto didn’t like him changing the end of the play and if he does anything else like that, he and the “Brady Lady” will pay.

Hope sets up for a romantic evening in the cargo hold with candlesticks and romantic lighting. Bo is worried that if Ernesto finds out about this that he is a killer. He demands to know what she told Julie and is upset that he knew she would blab. He tells her that if Ernesto finds out she knows about him that her life would be in danger. She assures him that she knows what the situation is and she is dealing with it in her own way.

She puts on soft music and and shushes him. She says she just needs him to hold her and she sinks into his arms. She realizes how worried Bo is and he tells her it is about this farewell dinner Isabella has planned. He reminisces about how beautiful she looked the night of the masquerade, that if they had been anywhere else, he wanted her so much. She urges him to stop fighting it, Ernesto can’t see them and they are safe together.

Bo finally gives in and makes love to Hope. Hope worries and Bo promises her they won’t be pulled apart. He says as soon as this cruise is over, they have their whole lifetime to spend together. Meanwhile, Ernesto realizes that Bo & Hope are missing and he surmises they are together. He has added them to his plans for his guests on their final dinner.

6/21 Bo and Hope sleep in each other’s arms. Hope has a dream that her and Bo are dancing on the deck in the moonlight and then Bo suddenly disappears. She finds him amidst some island greenery and then he disappears in a puff of smoke. She wakes up calling his name. She tells him about her dream and it felt all too real. He tries to reassure her that it was just a nightmare. She cries that she has had a horrible feeling and feels like this is a premonition that something is going to happen to them, that this happy reunion between them isn’t going to last.

Bo asks Hope to go along with whatever he says or does tonight that she goes along with him, no questions. He shares that he thinks Ernesto Toscano is going to come back from the dead that night and that this is Bo’s only chance to get to him when he comes out of hiding.

Bo is stopped on deck and the henchman pays him off in full and tells him he is free to go. He is surrounded by three crew who mean to escort him off the ship. Bo does his best to fight them off but is eventually over come and knocked out.

In the ballroom, Roman is trying to get Isabella to leave with him. Hope is worried about Bo not arriving and worries where he is at. Ernesto appears wearing a mask and takes his theatrical moment to remove it and reveal that he is alive. Ernesto offers to take Isabella away with him where he can keep her safe.

Hope worries to herself where is Bo? Flash to him laying on the deck, knocked out.

6/22 As Ernesto reaches out to take Isabella with him, Victor tries to stop him and tells him that he will take her over his dead body. Ernesto snarks that it is already too late for Victor. As Victor tries to go after Ernesto, Roman holds him back. Isabella tells Roman that her father is back and they are a family again. Isabella tells Roman her father is trying to protect her from Victor, and she's going with him then poof, they disappear in a puff of smoke, as the others band together.

Hope goes up on deck and finds unconscious Bo and tries desperately to wake him up. She hides when the crew returned. When Ernesto comes up on deck to leave with Isabella, his henchman pulls him aside and shows him that Johnny objected to leaving the ship early. Ernesto is fine with them leaving Johnny there so he can go down with the ship.

Jack & Jenn enter and tell everyone they were locked in their stateroom. They want to make sure that Isabella doesn’t leave the ship with Ernesto as she would be in danger from him. They want to know why, her father would never hurt her. Jack Jack slips to the others about Ernesto not being Isabella's father. Jen says Victor is her father, that they show everyone Loretta’s diary pages that proves it.

Bo wakes up and when Hope comes upon him, he tells her that Ernesto has rigged an explosion to blow up the ship.

Ernesto then appears via closed circuit camera and tells them there has been a traitor among them and it is Bo Brady. He continues but he really isn’t Bo Brady, as he is already dead and his substitute Bo will bring this cruise to it’s explosive conclusion as they are all going to die. Hope comes in and assures them that Bo is alive. She then tells them of the bomb planted in the cargo hold. She insists that Roman go down and help him. Bo is trying to stop. Roman takes off to help Bo, but first needs to be sure he is Bo, after what Ernesto said.

Roman goes down to the cargo hold and confronts Bo and they start fighting. Bo grabs him and swears to him that he is his brother, that this ship is going to blow up and this is their only chance to save everyone. Bo has to lock the water tight door and pray it gives them time to get everyone safe.

Shane talks to Steve and asks if he has heard from anyone on the cruise? No one has heard from them and the guys are worried.

6/25 Aftermath of the explosion on the Loretta, water is filling it up fast. Everyone is knocked out and lays scattered across the ship. Roman wakes up Bo and then head up to the ballroom. The rest of the gang come to as Roman and Bo rejoin them. Roman tells them that was a bomb that exploded. He comes back in bearing life rafts. Hope tells Bo again that she is afraid her dream is happening. He reassures her again that they have a long and happy life ahead of them.

Everyone runs through the ship trying to get to safety as water comes pouring in and the ship begins to tilt as it is taking on water. Bo yells that the deck is not under water and advises everyone to hold onto something solid. Roman tells for them to brace as waves are hitting them. Roman and Bo struggle to help everyone get on deck amidst the storm, and crashing waves.

They are able to launch a life boat and then Bo jumps over board. Then one by one the stranded passengers jump over board, starting with Julie and Bo helps her board the life boat. Followed by the rest of the gang. The next crisis is they realize the raft is tied to the boat and will be pulled under when the ship sinks. Bo works feverishly to free them.

Shawn comes over and asks Shane in his secret room if he has heard anything about the cruise, unfortunately Shane says no. Shawn is worried about Roman, Hope and even Bo even though he is Victor’s son. Shane and Shawn then talk about his feelings for Bo. Ernesto has Isabella tucked away and plans on poisoning her just like he did with her mother.

6/26 Roman & Bo work together to free the boat. Bo urges them all to use their arms to paddle away from the boat so they aren’t pulled under when it sinks. Bo jumps over and begins to kick and swim to push the boat away, Hope cries over his safety. Roman joins him and they continue to work together to push the boat away. The raft flips and everyone is tossed over board.

Several of the castaways are seen unconscious laying on an island. Roman wakes up first and starts running to check on the others. He wakes Julie up and laughs, “we are here!” He then wakes up Hope and welcomes her to paradise. Hope realizes Bo isn’t there and worriedly starts calling for him.

Roman reassures her that he will bring Bo back to her. He reminds her that he has grown up all of his life around water. Julie has the binoculars and promises to start looking for him and will watch the beach. Hope promises Julie that she will keep looking for Bo until she finds him.

Roman is headed off to look for his brother, Victor insists on going with him. As they wander around yelling for Bo, Roman blames Victor that Bo is in danger because of him. Bo got involved in this to try to help save him from Ernesto. Victor promises that he has a daughter he never knew about and his son has come back to him and he isn’t going to lose that without a fight. Ernesto learns they didn’t all die but instead have washed up on his island. Roman returns but doesn’t have any news for Hope. He assures her he will head back out first thing in the morning.

6/27 Shane goes to see Steve about working on finding the Loretta.

Hope has her dream again about Bo disappearing. She wakes up and tells Roman she's afraid she won't see Bo again. She tells him about the dream and she is afraid it is already starting to come true. He does his best to try to reassure her. She knows he is worried too and not just about Bo.

An injured Jennifer wakes up and Hope brings a first aid kit she found. Victor and Julie come running in and tell them they found a clearing that would make a good place for a campsite. Jack comes in and tells them he found a very small cave but large enough for Jennifer to fit, she needs the shelter the most so Jack carries her up there.

They all split up to go look for Bo. He soon comes upon Hope and just as relieved to see her, he runs up to her and puts his arms around her. She is thrilled to see him. He laughs that she will have to work hard to get rid of him! He tells her that he landed on the other side of the island. He was so worried about the rest of them.

Hope tells him they all survived but Jennifer has a badly injured leg and a bad fever. Hope fills him in on how worried Victor is about Isabella. She then gives him the news that Victor is Isabella’s father and she is his half-sister!

Roman is thrilled to return to see his brother alive and thanks him for saving his life. Bo laughs and asks him which time? In the cargo hold, ect. Roman apologizes and admits that he was wrong. Victor comes up next and hugs his son, glad he is safe. Roman takes off and leaves them alone. Bo has to admit that he played Toscano’s game, that he was never going to leave his wife and son.

Victor asks Bo if he was pretending about everything, about him? Bo says that he was just protecting his family. Victor wants to know while he was busy saving everyone else did he save Victor out of humanity or out of love? Bo isn’t able to answer that question. Victor and he talk about having Isabella in their lives and just hope she is safe. Victor tells them that he loves them both and won’t give up on either of them.

Later that night, Bo and Hope sit and hold each other and share a quiet moment in his other’s arms. He tells her all of the secrets are out now and they are together and that is all that matters. He tells her how much he loves her.

6/29 Victor tells Roman that they need to call a truce and work together so they can save Isabella. Roman agrees just till they get off this island safe and sound with her. They work together on building a raft (same raft that later falls apart when Hope & Jenn try to use it to signal a passing ship).

Bo finds Hope bathing naked in a pond and he joins her. He teases her about skinny dipping where the whole world can see her. She reminds him they are on a deserted island, much water play and splashing commences. Jack comes upon them, hides his gaze as he tells them Jennifer is doing good.

Bo & Hope go join Roman making the raft. Bo can navigate by the stars and get a fix tonight on which way they should head. Roman kinda of apologizes that while Bo is being a pain in the butt, at least he knows he is his brother.

A Toscano goon listens in as Bo says he had to play along with Ernesto’s game but now it is time to get his revenge. As the goon leaves, Roman hears him and looks into the brush and finds his footprint. Roman and Bo make a plan to go searching for whoever was watching them. The goon fills Ernesto in that Bo is actually Bo Brady, and Johnny was left in the cave. Ernesto grabs a bullet and says it is time to send a message.

Victor encourages Bo to keep Hope safe and tells him she is precious. When they are alone, Hope encourages him to figure things out with Victor, that he is his father. Bo tells her he will try but he doesn’t know how they will do it. She promises that they will do it together. He hugs her again and tells her he loves her and doesn’t know what he would do without her. She says that he will never have to find out.

7/2 Steve and Kayla tell Shane the Loretta sank, but Shane says he's been in contact with it's computer. Shane tries to locate the computer from the Loretta, and then the castaways. Ernesto learns someone is trying to tap into his computer.

Roman is seen lined up in a gun sites. A weak Isabella, who's being poisoned, hears a gun shot, and tries to check it out, only to learn she is locked in her room. Bo saves Roman from being shot. Hope comes upon them and they tell her one of Toscano’s men tried to shoot at them.

Bo suggests that there must be a trap door around here somewhere as the guy just disappeared. The goon later tells Toscano that he fired and missed just as Ernesto wanted. He says good now they all know he is on the island and next time there will be no escape for them.

The guys return to the group and tell them that someone shot at them and then just suddenly disappeared. Victor demands to know where the guy went as might lead them to Isabella. The goon later tells Toscano that he fired and missed just as Ernesto wanted. He says good now they all know he is on the island and next time there will be no escape for them.

Jack and Jenn enjoy the fresh water pool and Bo & Hope come upon them and tell them they are having a meeting back at the camp site.

Steve gathers the families together, the Hortons, the Brady’s, the Johnsons. He has to tell them that the Loretta sunk. He promises that he and Shane are working on their location and as soon as they find them that they will go and bring them all home. Shane comes in and tells everyone that Toscano is still alive and they believe he caused the shipwreck. Alice worries that their loved ones are in danger. Shane assures them that he believes they are alive and he and Steve are going to get them back!

They have a meeting and Roman tells them that he is going off on his own to search for Isabella. He wants Bo to stay with the others. Victor insists on going with him and tells him that he knows Toscano better than anyone. Roman shows Victor where the area where the goon disappeared. Roman is sure there is something around there that can lead them to Toscano. They are stunned to see him appear before their eyes.

As Roman charges him, Ernesto’s hologram disappears. He then laughingly reappears. Roman demands to know how Isabella is? Ernesto is happy Victor is alive as now he has the pleasure of watching him die and disappears again. Roman promises Victor that they will get Isabella back and put an end to old man Toscano.

Later Hope asks Jenn if she is okay, referring back to her intimacy with Jack at the pond. Jennifer says she is better than ever. She tells her how often Jack pushed her away and she just couldn’t leave him. She shares that she knows they are in danger and she should be afraid but she is just so hopeful for their future as she feels they will be together for a very long time.

Bo finds Hope lost in thought, not hearing him. He asks if she is okay? She says she is so very very scared and asks him to just hold her. Hope tells him it is the strong feeling she is having. When Jennifer was so hopefully and optimistic about her future with Jack, Hope is not, she just felt cold inside. She says she knows it is selfish but she is cared that something is going to separate them forever.

She begs him to take the raft and they should just go. Bo tells her that Toscano tried to kill them and they have to get to him before he gets to them. He promises her that they will be home with their son before she knows it, together as a family forever.

7/5 Hope wakes Bo up and tells him that Roman is gone. Bo determines that he is going off to search for Roman. Jack is going to join him. Hope insists on going with him, whatever happens to Bo, she wants it to happen to her as well. Bo insists on her staying behind and promises again that he has her to come back to. Victor chimes in that he wants to go too.

Bo puts a stop to it right now and tells them there are men with guns out there and they have to start working together or none of them will make it off the island. Hope and Victor stand down, though Victor assures his son that if he isn’t back in an hour that Victor will head out looking for him. Bo and Jack head out. They talk about their brothers.

Roman goes back to confront Toscano. Ernesto continues to toy with Roman. Roman tries to deal with Ernesto and offers him to stay on the island forever left alone in return for him releasing Isabella. Ernesto blames Victor for Loretta leaving him. Roman queries wasn’t him losing Loretta partly Ernesto’s fault.

He gets annoyed and gases Roman knocking him out and says he will let him see her. Roman wakes up in a dungeon and sees a screen that shows a rather sick Isabella laying in bed. Roman demands to know what is wrong with her? Ernesto begins to try to make a deal that he will trade Isabella for?

Julie comes upon Roman laying outside again. Roman recaps his experience inside the compound. Roman tells Victor that Isabella looks deathly ill. Victor knows that he is poisoning her just like he did Loretta. Victor insists that they get her away from him before it is too late and he will do anything to help her. Roman asks if he is sure about that as Ernesto wants Victor in exchange for Isabella.

7/9 Victor immediately agrees to give himself up to Ernesto for Isabella, Roman shares that he has a plan. Roman says Ernesto is so unstable that he might just blow both Victor & Isabella away. Roman says they are going to rescue her but they are going to do it his way. Roman suggests that Ernesto must believe that Victor is against being traded.

Shane and Steve work on finding the castaways. Shane heads over to Wings and questions Johnny again about Ernesto. He threatens him with the ISA. Johnny says he would rather face the ISA than Ernesto Toscano. Johnny suggests that a pay off would be in order. Shane arranges to meet him in the tunnels in an hour. Shane takes Johnny captive and threatens him with torture. Johnny finally tells Shane about Ernesto being a master of illusions, and his island in Italy. Shane and Steve head to the island in Italy.

When the raft collapses, Hope and Jen almost drown. Hope has flashbacks of her dream as Bo kept disappearing. Bo swims to the rescue and saves Hope, and well, Jack is saved by Jen, trying to save her. Hope clings to Bo and says that she will never let him out of her sight again. He wants to know why she pulled this stunt and what was she doing on the raft out there? She tells him about the ship and he things it was cute. She reminds him that she is a good sailor and lived on their boat for three years! Hope tells him that in her dream she lost him on this island and she just wants off of this island before she loses him again.

Ernesto meets with Roman and they arrange to meet. Roman goes back to the gang. Bo is skeptical of his idea to trade Victor for Isabella. Roman tells him that he has a plan. While Ernesto is busy with Victor, Roman will grab Isabella and get to the communications room and bamm they will all get off the island. Bo says that Victor could get killed in this pretty little plan of Roman’s. Victor knows the risk, but has to take it to save his daughter.

Roman leaves for first watch and Bo pulls Victor aside and asks him if he is really ready to die. Victor is touched that Bo cares and promises that he won’t give up without a fight. Victor says this has to be done to save Bo and Isabella. Bo argues and says not like this.

Hope tells Julie that she has known Victor a very long time and has never seen him act so unselfishly. Julie is drawn to him. Hope asks if they are becoming friends. She says that no they are just drawn together because of these circumstances, once they are back home they will resume being adversaries. Bo tells Hope that he can’t let Victor go through with this. He has to stop him and he has his own plan to make sure everyone gets off this island.

7/11 Roman fills in Bo on his plan to get Isabella and help for them. Bo doesn’t like the plan as he thinks it is too dangerous and too much relies on Roman being able to find the communications room and get word for help. Bo doesn’t think Ernesto is going to just let Roman go running around his compound. Hope is listening in from the bushes.

Bo’s tells him that Roman’s plan doesn’t include the element of surprise. Bo says he should sneak in as well and join Roman to help him rescue Isabella. Bo argues this will work as Toscano will not expect it. Roman worries that Toscano will get his hands on Bo, as Hope watches from her hiding place shaking her head at the idea of Bo being in danger. Roman says no, he doesn’t like the plan and Bo can’t go.

Roman observes that Bo always has to play the hero and get in on the action. Bo says it is not that, Isabella is his sister, and Victor is his father. Roman says not enough reason, Bo doesn’t even know Isabella and he scoffs at the idea of Bo risking his life for Victor.

Bo finally blows up that he isn’t going to let Roman go in there and get himself killed! Roman is his brother and he is going to look out for him. Roman is touched and says that he has to look out for his kid brother too. Bo states again they will work together, Roman comes around and says it sounds like one hell of a plan.

The boys fill Victor in on their new plan. Victor doesn’t like Bo getting involved in this at all. Victor insists that he is going into that compound alone. Once he is turned over to Ernesto, he will release Isabella and there is no reason for Bo or Roman to be involved. Bo refuses and flatly states that he can’t do that. If Ernesto pulls a double cross, then both he and Isabella could wind up dead.

Victor assures him that he can handle Ernesto. Bo questions how exactly does Victor plan on getting Isabella away from the guards? Roman chimes in, not to mention what a hard time that Victor would have of convincing her to leave. Roman says she has to know the truth about Victor being her daddy.

Roman meets with hologram Ernesto again and demands to see Isabella. He is escorted into the compound at gunpoint and reunited with Isabella. He breaks the truth to her about her father. He tells her that Victor was right about her father, he has been on a revenge kick.

He tells her that everything Victor said about her mother was the truth, that Victor & Loretta had an affair. Roman tells her that if he is such a good guy why is he holding her prisoner. She insists that she isn’t being held and opens the door to three guards with guns. She looks at Roman in shock. Roman continues that Ernesto is not her father, Victor is!

Bo & Hope talk and she begs him not to go after Ernesto. She doesn’t want him going into that compound, not just for her, but for their son. Hope wants to know why he is insisting on doing this. She accuses that he is risking his life for Victor, obviously upset about that. He tells her that he told Shawn D that he would get the mean old warlock. she insists that their son doesn’t need him to be a hero. Bo says if he doesn’t take care of Ernesto now, that he will continue to hunt him down and with Ernesto’s contacts it might be a short hunt. Hope is terrified.

Bo promises her that once he goes into the compound it will be all over. Bo starts trying to seduce her and she says it isn’t working. He ignores her and continues to kiss her, planning on making love to her. She tries to say she isn’t in the mood because she is so worried about him, but he convinces her as he keeps kissing her. Later, Bo & Hope enjoy private time holding each other laying in front of a fire. He promises her that he will be back. She says that she knows he is afraid as he made love to her like it was for the very last time. He is quiet and somber and doesn’t argue it.

Shane and Steve find the place Ernesto held Johnny captive, as they search for leads on the castaways. Shane locates a computer chip that he is confident will lead them to Toscano! They pour over the info looking for a clue. They find maps of the islands but Shane says would take forever to search all of them. They have the code for the radio and decide to try to make radio contact on that frequency. Ernesto realizes that someone has tapped into the computer and tells his goons they have to move fast.

Victor and Julie find the radio from the Loretta, and the gang work on it till they get it working as Shane and Steve try to contact them.

7/12 Kayla goes to see Kim with the baby and Shawn-Douglas, as they talk about the situation. Isabella confronts Ernesto about her mother and him.

Hope tells Bo that she knows he is afraid of not coming back to her. He offers to kiss away her fears and her premonitions. She says it isn’t just that, she has never been away from Shawn D like this before. She is upset that she forgot to ask Kayla to read his favorite book, “The Velveteen Rabbit”. He kisses her on her nose and says he knows it is her favorite story too. (Note this is the final Hope scene on 8/8 as Bo reads this book to his son and we see Hope there with them either in spirit or a memory?)

Jen works on the radio, trying to get help, as Shane calls them on the radio. Shane and Steve pick up a distress call, as Steve says that is Jennifer. Shane is frustrated that he can’t get through to them. Steve encourages him that at least they now know Jennifer is alive and he believes the rest of their friends are too.

Isabella learns from Roman that Victor is her real father, but she doesn't believe it, until he shows her the pages from her mother’s diary. She reads in her mother’s words that she suspects that Ernesto is poisoning her. Roman then has to tell her that Ernesto has been poisoning her as well and that is why she has been so sick.

Ernesto comes in and she flies at him crying how could he have killed her mother. His guards restrain her. Ernesto sends Roman on his way and says he will only get Isabella when he gets Victor. Roman promises that he will be back. She knows that Ernesto has no plans of letting her go and he intends on killing her just like her mother.

Roman returns to the gang and wants to go over the plan one more time. He tells them that Isabella looked better, Ernesto has backed off on the poisioning. Everyone says their goodbyes and Hope puts on a brave face as she kisses her man goodbye.

Jack and Jen finally reach Shane and Steve on the radio. Jack tells them that while everyone is alive they are in grave danger from Ernesto Toscano. Shane & Steve narrow down the location to a ring of islands. They ask Jack to make the biggest bonfire he can so they can spot which island. Jack urges them again to hurry and tells him that Bo & Roman have gone into Ernesto’s compound. Shane tells Steve, “Lets go find ourselves a chopper!”

Hope wants to go after Bo and let him know that help is on the way. She has a horrible feeling that something will happen to him if she doesn’t stop him from going into that compound. Hope and Julie then go after Bo and Hope stops in her tracks with an overwhelming premonition that something awful is going to happen.

Victor & Roman put on a show that Victor is being led to Ernesto against his will. The goons then come out and take Roman as well. The goons tell Ernesto that Hope is snooping around. He tells them to invite her in then. Ernesto’s show begins as a curtain is raised and Roman is shown on the stage with the big mummy case. Roman winks at Isabella to let her know everything will be okay. On Ernesto’s command, Roman opens the case revealing Victor. Bo is still hidden out of view.

Dvd #22B 7/13 Shane and Steve arrive on the island in a helicopter. Steve thinks he spots Jack & Jenn by the fire and move to land in the clearing. Jack and Jen are excited to see the helicopter and begin flagging it down.

Julie and Hope are looking for Bo. He is hiding inside the tomb, watching the confrontation between Victor and Ernesto. Ernesto promises to be Victor’s executioner and he will die at his hands today. Ernesto blames Victor for stealing his wife. Victor objects that she came to him and that Ernesto killed her. Ernesto demands his justice and him and Victor go at it and begin fighting. Bo pops out and takes on a guard as Roman takes on the other.

Julie & Hope stumble upon the projector room and begin to see the fight in the other room. Hope realizes Bo is involved and suddenly a door in the wall pops open and she moves towards it. Julie tries to stop her but Hope insists that Bo needs her and Hope goes through the door, even as Julie tries to warn her that someone knows they are there and it could be a trap. Jack takes them to the entrance but he doesn’t know how to get in, some sort of magic trick. Shane sets about setting an explosion and tells him that with a little luck, he will create a magic trick of his very own.

Roman and Bo capture Ernesto, but he shows them he has Hope in suspended in a cage, over a barrel of acid. He says he is being generous as there is room in the cage for the other one and Julie is brought into the room. Ernesto tells him that his best means of revenge is to hurt the loved one of his enemy as that causes the greatest pain.

Isabella tries to reason with Ernesto as Roman tries to reach Hope. Ernesto isn’t moved. She still believes that he loves her and that he will always be her father. He tells her that now it is too late and it is no longer possible. She tries to entice him to leave with her, just the two of them. He is not touched and climbs up the staircase to the cage. He is going to impress them with another magic feat. Bo begs him not to hurt Hope and take him instead.

Ernesto claims that he is a sentimental man and gives Bope a chance to say their goodbyes, teasing them that if they touch his heart that perhaps he will spare her life. He says it isn’t likely but it amuses him to give them the chance to perform again. Bo promises to get her out of this. Ernesto interrupts and instructs them to say their goodbyes. Hope cries that she wants Bo to tell Shawn Douglas that his mommie loves him. Bo promises that he will.

She tells Bo how much they both mean to her as she sobs. She tells him how happy he has made her. She doesn’t want him to ever think even for a second that she was disappointed, loving him as been the greatest job of her life. He tells her that she is his life and he refuses to let her go that this isn’t the end. Ernesto cruelly tells them he wasn’t moved and wasn’t nearly touching enough to spare her. Something goes terribly wrong, the cage begins shaking and sparks start flying. Bo rushes to try to get to her as Hope screams for him. Roman grabs him and stops him just as the cage explodes taking Ernesto and Hope with it.

7/16 Roman holds back Bo, as he tries to find Hope in the flames. Shane and Steve hear the explosion. Jack, Jenn, and the guys come upon the slightly ajar door and see the smoke. Jack opens the doors and calls for everyone to head towards him.

Julie & Victor and Isabella come out coughing. Julie tells them that Roman & Bo are still inside. Victor says that something happened to Hope, the cage holding her exploded. Victor says Bo won’t leave, Roman is trying to get him out and Bo has to get out soon as the fire is getting bad.

Steve & Shane immediately head into the fire to help their friends, their brother-in-laws. Roman and Bo are in another part of the compound fighting their way through the goons, demanding to know where Hope is? Hans, Ernesto’s goon, says the cage wasn’t supposed to have exploded, that he is sorry it was an accident, the trick malfunctioned. He says Ernesto & Hope are both dead, they died in that cage as Bo screams no! Shane & Steve find them and pull Bo off the guy. Shane arrests him and Bo heads off to find his wife with Steve right behind him.

Bo and Steve have looked all over, Bo refuses to leave until he finds Hope. Bo has a flashback of her in the cage in her final moments. Once outside, Bo & Steve catch up to the others. Julie asks where is she? Steve shakes his head that he couldn’t find her. Julie cries no!

Shane wants to make arrangements to take everyone home. Bo refuses to leave until he finds his wife and he is firm that he isn’t leaving the island without her. Shane tries to convince him to let the ISA experts search, but he insists on also staying to find Hope. Roman & Isabella join the others and Shane tells that Bo is staying behind but he will be okay as Steve is staying with him.

7/18 Steve tells Bo he looks like hell and asks if he is alright? Two days Bo says they have searched everywhere for her and he refuses to leave until he finds her. Steve isn’t leaving without him and points out all the search parties have been over the whole island with no clues.

Bo tells him that Hope had a premonition, a terribly feeling that something was going to happen to separate them. He swore to her that nothing would separate them and he is going to keep that promise. He can’t leave this island and if Steve wants to go back… Steve refuses again to leave him and says he is in it for the long haul. They head off to continue searching.

Roman & Isabella go to the Brady’s and give them the news about Hope. Julie breaks the sad news to Mr. & Mrs. H that Hope isn’t coming home. Mrs. H cries that it isn’t fair, she has a husband, and a baby. She asks how Bo is accepting this? Julie admits that he isn’t, that is why he stayed behind. She points out that Doug needs to be told and says she will do it.

Julie makes that heartbreaking call to Doug to tell him about Hope’s fate (he isn’t shown). After the call, she sobs and Alice comes in and wraps her arms around her. Julie says this is all just too much.

Bo comes upon the pond they skinny dipped in and sits down. He thinks about a conversation he and Hope had to pinky swear, then they flashback to them as children when they first kiss. Bo tells Steve again that he made Hope a promise that they wouldn’t be separated and he is going to keep that promise.

Next he thinks of Hope (new scene showing them on the boat, her telling him how relieved she is that Victor isn’t in their lives that she always feared he would bring danger to their family). Bo yells this is all his fault. Steve comes up and asks why he thinks that? Bo says if he had just told her what was going on that she would have stayed home safe in Salem with Shawn D.

Steve assures him that he did everything he could to protect his family and he has nothing to feel guilty about. He tells him if he wants to be mad to be mad at Toscano and not himself. He reminds him that Toscano was hell bent on getting his revenge against Vic and nothing Bo could have done to stop that.

Bo goes off on his own and screams into the night at Toscano, yelling where is his wife? Sobbing his grief and loss, saying over and over.. “where is my life?” Steve hears him and comes up and tries again to get him to come home. He offers to give him all the time in the world, months, years, if he thought it would help. Steve tells him it is time to face the fact that Hope isn’t there. He says it hurts him too but Hope is gone.

Bo starts to attack him saying she isn’t gone. Steve asks him to accept that Hope is not on this island and asks Bo to accept that. Bo says she can’t just be nowhere like she never existed. He heartbrokenly asks Steve what he is going to do? Steve tells him that he is going to stop torturing himself on this island and go home to that little boy who needs his papa more than ever. Steve leaves to go get the chopper ready.

Everyone gathers at the Horton’s and Mr. H calls for a prayer. He says thanks for the safe return of his loved ones. Now he asks the same blessing for those still missing, for Hope, and for those still searching for her and bring them home. Jo, Jack, and Jenn link hands and say the same prayer to “Bring them home”, next Victor on the waterfront says, “bring them home”. Final shot is of the saddest Bo ever sitting staring out into the dark, looking completely lost.

7/19 Steve comes home and Kayla asks about Hope, but Steve just shakes his head. Shane and Bo "talk" to Johnny about Ernesto at Wings. Johnny is a smart ass saying that a deal is a deal and Bo slaps him. Shane steps in and asks if he knows anything about Toscano’s magic tricks. Johnny swears he doesn’t know anything and says if he does that he will let them know. Bo grabs him and says that he sure hopes they aren’t lying to them. Kayla tells Kim about Hope, just as Shane comes in with Bo. Kim is upset that Shane didn’t call and tell her, Bo turns around and walks out. Kayla finds Bo back on the boat. He insists that Hope is alive out there somewhere. Kayla asks that Steve said there was no way she could have survived and asks him to accept that she is gone. He suggests that she do what she needs to do but he is going to look for his wife.

Shawn D comes running up, thrilled to see his papa. He asks where is mommie? Bo tries to explain to his son that mommie went away, sort of got lost like Shawnie did one time at a carnival. He asks if his dad going to be able to find her like he found him. Bo says he is sure going to try. He promises they will find her even if they have to sail around the world looking.

Bo’s pop comes looking for him on the boat and understands why Bo doesn’t want to have a memorial. He supports him in doing whatever he has to do and if he needs to continue to search then he should do that. Bo asks him what he would do? Shawn says he doesn’t know, but there are other people who need a service to be able to say goodbye to her. He suggests that might help ease Bo’s heart as well. Bo says that is fine, they can have their service but he won’t be there. Shawn tells him if he needs anything to call him, and reminds him that he loves him.

7/20 Kayla and Steve arrive at the boat to get Bo to go with them to Hope’s memorial. He says he's not going, since he doesn't believe Hope is dead and he doesn’t see any reason to mourn. He insists that he is going to find Hope. Kayla looks at him with her eyes filed with love and heartbreak, and Steve just pulls her away and they leave.

Shawn-Douglas comes up with his fishing pole and they take off to go fishing together. People begin gathering for Hope's memorial. Shawn is upset that Victor is at Hope’s memorial. Roman reminds him that the man is Bo’s father and they are going to have to accept it, at least today for Bo’s sake. Shawn warns him that if he makes trouble he will answer to him. Isabella promises to keep an eye on him and makes sure he behaves.

Tom finds Alice with her box of Christmas ornaments on her lap, holding Hope’s ornament. They talk about her being born, and her as a child. She says it isn’t right not only losing her child “Addie” but losing her child’s child. She is grateful for him and her family to get through this.

Julie arrives at the funeral and her and Victor exchange the nod of adversaries with a worthy opponent. Victor tells Shawn how sorry he is, that he knows how much he loves Bo. Julie thanks Victor for attending. Everyone seems surprised at Victor’s genuine concern for the Brady’s, though Julie doesn’t seem to be having a measure of the man when it comes to his family. Justin & Adrienne arrive, Victor is surprised to see them. Justin tells him they got back to town just in time and wanted to be there for him.

Jack & Jenn arrive, then Steve & Kayla come in. They tell Caroline that Bo isn’t coming. Steve says no way is Bo ready to hear how sorry everyone is. Kayla tried to reach out to him but he isn’t ready. Mrs. H is horrified that he isn’t coming. Julie tells her that only Hope could get through to the stubborn Bo as Tom begins reciting a poem and speaks about his beautiful granddaughter. He invites everyone to share their memories of Hope. As Jenn gets up to speak, Mrs. H walks out.

Bo & Shawn D are fishing and talking about Hope. Bo finds a picture of Hope and gives it to his son. He puts it in his shirt pocket right next to his heart. Alice goes to the fishing spot and asks if they have an extra pole. He gives her his pole and says she was quite the pro at fishing in her day. He asks what she is doing there and why isn’t she at the church. She admits that it is too painful to say goodbye.

He asks though doesn’t the rest of the family need her? She says he he has a point, maybe their families need both of them. She also says that she thinks he could use them too. As Julie speaks, Mrs. H walks back into the church. Alice was able to get through to him, and he finally shows up at the church as Melissa sings “Celebrate My Love”. The pain in his eyes as he thinks of Hope, cue the flashbacks.

Bo gets up to speak next. He acknowledges that all of their families are under one roof and Hope brought them all together. He is firm that he didn’t come there to say goodbye to her as he knows she isn’t dead. He knows it and Shawn Douglas knows that as well. He gets chocked up as he says that isn’t why he is here. He knows they all came there to say they love Hope and they miss her. He loves and misses her too, an awful lot, as she cries. He doesn’t think she would be too happy if a bunch of people got together to feel bad about her and walks away sobbing.

Roman gets up and grabs his brother and hugs him. Steve then hugs him, then Shawn approaches. Bo begs please lets not get into it right now. Shawn says it is okay and just hugs his son as Bo cries into his arms. Then his mom takes his face in her hands and tells her how sorry she is. He looks at his sitters and brother with tears running down his face.

7/24 Isabella shows up to talk to Bo. He demands that she tell him where Toscano is. She looks at him in shock as he tells her that he thinks she knows more than she is letting on. She tells him that she knows he is hurting but she doesn’t have any answers for him. He grabs her and starts peppering her with questions about secret rooms, passage ways, ect.

She pleads that she hates Ernesto as much as Bo does for what he did to Hope. She asks him to trust her and he says why should he? She reminds him that she is his sister and whether he wants to admit it or not they are Victor’s children. She says that Bo is as bitter as Victor is and if he isn’t really careful then he will end up all alone just like Victor. She makes her point and leaves rather decidedly.

A crate arrives with a letter from Toscano, it is addressed to Isabella. Victor, Isabella, and Roman gather to open it. Bo comes it having gotten tipped off about it’s delivery. He insists on opening it as it might be a clue to where Hope is. He pulls out Loretta’s portrait. Bo says the only person who could have sent this was Toscano and proof that not only is he still alive but Hope is too!

7/25 Bo insists that Ernesto is alive and the portrait is proof. Bo wants to take the picture and Bo refuses if it will help him find Hope. He takes out his knife and slashes the picture. He is furious as he considers this proof that Toscano is alive and that his wife is with him. Victor stops Bo from leaving and says that this painting isn’t the original. He tells them the lace is wrong and her eyes aren’t as lively. Isabella isn’t sure but admits he might be right about the eyes. Bo finds a shipping label to Ernesto’s old stomping grounds in Naples, Italy. Roman stops him and tells him he has been where Bo is and he knows what it is like to see clues everywhere. Bo insists this situation is different. Roman tries to get him not to get his hopes up. Bo is sure this is going to lead him to his wife and takes off.

Bo goes home and tells Shawn D he has to go away for a few days on the search for his mom. Julie comes by and Bo tells her about the arrival of the portrait. He has hope that she is alive and brings the hope back into Julie’s eyes as well. She cautions him as well of not getting his hopes up but not doing that to Shawn D. She says that it isn’t fair to Shawn D. to give him false hope that he can bring his mom home. He says it isn’t fair to tell him his mom is gone when he knows she isn’t.

Isabella & Roman come to the boat and she offers to help him as she has a lot of contacts in Naples, contacts of Ernesto’s that might be able to help him. Bo rudely turns away their offer of help. Roman tries to figure out why Bo is so angry at them. He blames Roman & Isabella that it is their fault that Hope is gone. He blames them for trying to jump Toscano, it angered him and that is when he jumped in the cage and set off the explosion. Roman was just trying to help get Hope out of the situation and he is sorry for it. They wish him luck in finding her and sadly leave.

His pop shows up and questions that he doesn’t really blame them does he? He overheard all the goings on. Shawn tells him that he knows Roman didn’t do it on purpose. Bo agrees but he doesn’t know that about Isabella, after all she is a Toscano and was raised by him. Shawn gives Bo a good luck coin, with a cute story about it, he wished on it when Bo was born and now he is wishing on it again. He leaves it on the deck for Bo.

7/27 glitches. Bo arrives at the address in Naples the portrait was shipped from. When no one answers the door, Bo kicks it in. A lookout outside, makes a call that Bo Brady just showed up. Inside, Bo has found a portrait of Hope and tenderly puts his hand on it.

The artist comes in and Bo apologizes for busting in, he thought the studio was deserted. The artist says that he finished it yesterday. Bo shows him the picture of Loretta’s portrait. The artist says he received the picture of the portrait on July 13th. Bo says that was the day of the explosion. He gets the address of where it was sent from.

Bo goes to it and seems to be an abandoned barn. As he lights his lighter, he has flashback (but a new scene of Bo & Hope & Shawn D as he brings her a cake with lit candles for her birthday. She wishes for them to stay together just as happy as they are now). He thinks he hears her calling him and calls out to her. Hans comes in and tells Bo not to worry that he has Hope and she is very much alive as Bo’s eyes light up.

7/30 Hans proposes a trade in order for Bo to get his wife back, only fair after all the trouble Hans has gone to in order to keep her safe. Bo asks him what he wants? Bo warns him that he will tear his face off if he doesn’t start talking. Hans offers Hope in return for $5 million dollars. Bo looks at him in shock.

Bo says for that much money he is going to need pro of that she is still alive. Hans agrees to give him plenty of proof. He plays a recording of Hope’s voice begging Bo to save her. She says she had the premonition all wrong, she thought he was leaving her and turns out she was taken away from him. Bo calls Victor for help and tells him that Hope is alive. Victor agrees to pay it, Bo tells him that he doesn’t have to do this. Victor say the money is his and he will have it ready within the hour.

Bo dreams of their reunion of having Hope back in his arms, kissing her. He tells her he knew she was alive, no matter what anyone else said. They tell each other that they love each other. He wakes up with a start. He promises again that he will find her and bring her home!

8/1 Victor arrives in Italy to meet with Bo with a briefcase of $5 millon dollars. Bo tells himself not long now, Hope will be back. Victor tells him he hopes that it works out the way they both want. Victor is concerned that ransom is a very delicate and dangerous transactions and he wants him to be prepared as things can go wrong. Bo is tired of sitting around waiting for a phone call. He thanks Victor again for bringing the money.

Victor knows that Bo wasn’t too happy to learn Victor was his father, but Victor couldn’t have been happier to find out Bo was his son. Bo is surprised that Victor would do this much to get Hope back. Victor admired her spunk and looks forward to the day when they can be on the same side but even if not, he would do this anyway to help Bo.

Bo gets instructions to take the money to the warehouse. They are told to drop off the money at the warehouse and then go to the art studio to find Hope. Victor doesn’t like this plan and says that Nico will take the money to the drop at the warehouse and he and Bo will go to the art studio for Hope. Bo agrees.

Bo walks into the studio, sees Hope’s portrait and says, “Not long now. Soon Fancy Face!”. Victor knows she means a lot to him. Bo says she means everything. Victor has known that kind of love and knows what it means to lose it. He promises that he would do anything to get her back for Bo, IF she is still alive.

Bo hears a noise and rushes outside calling for Hope. Nico is there holding Hans by knife point. Victor demands to know where Hope is. Hans says she is dead, that is was all a hoax for the ransom. Bo said no that he heard her voice, he insists that was her. Hans had someone take tapes of Hope talking and master them. He continues that she never sat for the portrait. Hans insists that it was a complicated trick and something went wrong and Hope died. Bo insists that it is not true. He sadly stares at her portrait, faced with giving her up.

8/2 Bo returns back to his boat. He sadly stares at a picture of him and Hope together. Mrs. H stops by to see how he is doing as she heard he was back. She knows this can’t be easy for him. He gives her one word answers. She asks him if he has to close himself off in order not to feel the pain? She tells him that he does have something to talk about and not talking about it won’t make the pain go away.

He tells her to go away but she refuses. She says she owes her granddaughter more than that. She says that Hope wouldn’t have wanted that. Bo starts to yell what does she know about what Hope would want? She says that is okay to let it out. She knows he is a tough guy but even tough guys hurt when they lose someone they love. He sadly asks her if she is trying to make this worse. Shawn Douglas comes in and asks where his mommie is? Bo has to tell him that he did everything he could to bring her home but he couldn’t find her. He wants to know where she went? Bo had to tell him that she went to heaven, but she would always love him, just like they would always love her.

Kayla stops by to give him a hug, she heard what happened in Italy. He brushes it off. He congratulates her on her impending wedding. She feels bad about having a big wedding. He tells her that Hope wouldn’t want her to feel that way, wasn’t it Hope that helped them get together way back when.

Bo goes down to the dock and Mrs. H finds him there. He tells her he really isn’t in the mood to talk. She says that he promised her a ride on the motorcycle and she has come to collect. She does make him smile as she tells him she was born to be wild. He takes her to the Bucket of Blood. She offers to be his designated driver but he laughs at the idea of her riding his motorcycle and tells her he can handle a couple of beers. She goes to call Tom for a ride home when he decides to hang out.

8/3 Bo meets Shawn down on the dock. Shawn tells him that he would like to have a nice dinner and have him and Shawn D over and the boy can have some of his grandma’s chowder. Shawn fights for him and tells him that he needs his people now, to share the loss. He tells him they are all aching inside and need the healing of being together.

With tears in his eyes, Shawn shares his pain that Bo wasn’t the only one who loved her…. that they loved her too. Shawn tells Bo that since he returned from Italy that he is letting his heart turn cold and hard and asks him to think about what he is teaching his son every day.

Bo reads “The Velveteen Rabbit” to Shawn D using different voices for the characters. He thinks of Hope (in new scene) of her reading the book to her son as Bo sat with them. Bo is reading the book and hears a ruckus on the dock and heads out to see what is going on. Bo meets Carly and they exchange words. She feels awful when she realizes that he is Bo who just lost his wife. He goes back to reading the story to his son.

Caroline stops by and gets a huge hug from her grandson and he tells her how much he misses her. She invites him to come over to her place and play with Max. She asks Bo to let her help him. He tells her that she can’t help. She invites Shawn D to sleep over. He agrees and takes off. He goes back to the Bucket of Blood and his waitress from earlier flirts with him. When two guys hassle her, he is happy to take them on and get some release from fighting.

8/6 Bo goes to see Mrs. H and she comments on the bruises on his face. He tells her a story about Shawn D and realizes that he needs to get him enrolled in pre-school and starts talking about Hope. She says that is okay, he can talk to her about Hope. She tells him if he is ready to talk that she is there. He walks out telling her that he has to hit the road.

He stops in the backyard and she follows him out. He tells her that he and Hope would play for hours in the backyard. They talk about memories of him and Hope in their childhoods. He talks about a moment in their childhood when Hope fell out of the tree and got all skinned up. He didn’t mean for her to get hurt, not then and not now. Alice consoles him that she knows Hope knows that, wherever she is. He breaks down crying and hugs her just sobbing.

Kayla stops by and notices that Bo looks more like himself. She asks if he is sure he is okay? He assures her that he is. She tentatively asks him if he would do a reading at her ceremony. She would understand if he doesn’t want to do it but it would mean a lot to her if he would. He agrees and she hugs him, she knew she could count on him.

8/8 Johnny shows up at the boat asking for his money. He snakily tells Bo that the world doesn’t stop turning just because there is one less pretty face. Victor & Nico comes up and Nico slugs Johnny, knocking him down. Victor says that no one talks about his son’s wife that way. Johnny says he wants his money.

Victor wants to know what money? Johnny says the money that Bo was supposed to pay him for not switching places with him. Victor agrees to pay it and will have it to him next week. After Johnny scampers off, Victor tells Bo that he can use his business expertise with different companies. Bo is fine just taking care of his son and his boat. Victor offers to support him financially, emotionally, in any way he needs.

Later, Roman stops by. He does know how Bo feels because of losing Marlena. When he lost her, he lost a big part of himself. He reassures him that things to get better. Bo confides that he misses her so much that it hurts. Roman says that all the love that Bo has didn’t die with Hope.

Bo shows up to see Isabella and apologizes for what he did to her mother’s portrait. He shares that was a really stupid thing to do. Since Victor offered him a job, he figures that Victor offered her a job as well. He tells her a bit about Victor and the kind of business he is in and asks her if she wants to be a part of that. She tells him that Victor is the only family she has. He tells her that isn’t true, that she has him, after all he is her brother.

(dark scene) Steve comes upon Bo sitting down on the dock and joins him. It is the night before Steve’s wedding to Kayla. Bo says they have a chance to start over and begin their life anew. Bo suddenly jumps up to take off. Steve stops him and plays “Here Come the Bride” on his harmonica. He shares that he wants to play it went Kayla walks down the aisle. Bo looks suspicious that Kayla is going to love it and he laughs. Steve insists that he is going to go through with it as Bo continues to laugh. Steve tells him that he is really happy that he is going to be there this time.

The mystery woman asks why, why did this happen to her, then we see her face and surprise surprise, it's Hope. Later, she is looking at the photo of Bo, which she took from Marlena's wallet. She then cuts out Bo's face and places it in a small ornate box. She doesn't speak.
