My Writing

(No, I'm not a vogon. Why ask?)

All poems © to me, unless stated otherwise.

I noticed an interesting trend in people's websites: they all seem to have some content. You know, like "my art gallery", or "my stories", or things like that. Well, I seem to have no artistic talent, and my attention span won't let me finish any of my story ideas. But poems are right up my alley, so to speak. And now, without futher ado...

Assorted poems

*A cell that had gone through mitosis
grabbed some food through endocytosis.
But it didn't realize
there were toxins inside
Behold: it's apoptosis.

*"P53's no good to me,"
said the laboratory rat.
A small lump inside
got big, he died.
And that's the end of that.

It. Is. Broken.
It will not work, it does not go.
Hitting it won't help, you know.
The problem here lies deep inside,
some part in there just up and died.
It will not 'beep', it will not 'ding',
it's too late, come on, just toss the thing.
It is gone, expired, just 'no more',
it rang the doorbell on death's door.
It is late, deceased, an ex-machine
what did you do to this poor thing?

Haikus

I like the haiku,
It is simple, short, and sweet.
Like a tootsie roll!

Why must I suffer through this?
