My name is Ruby Nightingale. I live in Duluth. MN but I was born in Sacramento County, California and I was raised for 8 years of my childhood in Newport and North Troy, Vermont. My step father Byron Dix explored ancient ruins on the East Coast of the US and he worked at Space Research Corporation. I have some engineering skills because of him. I started doing art since I could hold a crayon.
I am a 52 year old physically disabled self-taught Freelance artist. I sketch, draw, stipple, work with pens, use water colors and acrylics. Acrylics is my favorite medium and color pencils is my second favorite. I also do many crafts like spinning, weaving 3 types of lace making, doll making, puppet making, bead work, paper mache, and mask making.
I also write children’s books and poems. Only some of my poetry has been published. In my leisure time I sing and play Celtic lap harp. I occasionally do tarot readings for free. I have read tarot since I was a child.
