FAQ

What do I need to play? A copy of Mage the Ascension is useful but not needed. Other than that, just show up.

Can I play something other than a mage? No, unless you convince or bribe me otherwise.

What is with all the guns? What would you prefer to use against evil denizens of the night, harsh language? You are human and will need all of the weapons you can get.

Is the campaign set in the World of Darkness? No. It has a many similarities but is less sinister and apocalyptic.

Can I play someone in the technocracy? Yes for all of one game.

Can I use an existing character? Maybe. Again the bribery thing.

How closely do you follow the rules for magic? Not too picky. Do not worry too much about focuses and avatars. Do worry about spheres and paradox. My interpretation of magic has more to do with changing reality by willpower. What your character needs to do this is up to you.

Can humans soak lethal damage? No.

What about the Ascension War? More of a small cold war. Many mages could care less, and the technocracy is not as all controlling as you may think.

Will this game turn me into a Satanist? Only if you try real hard.
