Tyran's Cove
~The midnight wind blows gently across your skin as you timidly walk down the path to Tyran's Cove. To the right and left of you, on each side of the dirt path stand tall statues of the Gods and Goddesses surrounded elegantly by well trimmed and kept rose bushes of all colors. You notice a light spray of eves dew dance on and around each enchanted rose petal traveling down each stem. Collecting a mystical lunian glow that causes small twinkles of light amongst the path.. growing more so with every step forward you take.~

~Warmed by the glow of the moon and the path... seemingly feels comfortable and secure to you after your long journey, you grow more relaxed with every step... giving the warmth permission to step into you're bones and ease you're tired body while you gaze onward over the familiar landscape. "Where have I seen this before?"~

~The westward mountainside forms a large portion of the land carpeted in majestic splendor. The tall emerald trees in the valley seem ablaze in the seasons midnight colors of brilliant purples, blues and blacks... fading into the manors castles beyond. The flawless sky among the trees to the east repeats itself exactly in the waters of windfire lake bleeding into the landscape exactly how you imagined it.~

~The iron gates of the cove stand open outward... welcoming anyone who wishes to cross over. On each heavy gateway you see a largely cryptic symbol engulfing most of it, becoming the gate itself. You identify the symbol of the manor immediately and a rush of power takes surge through your thoughts. Taking a step slowly through, tracing your fingertips across the gates doors, feeling the overbearing power of the land... you feel the cove becoming part of you.~

The Tavern

The Tavern is the busiest and most popular place in the land, known by many for many years. Though it has gone through being destroyed and rebuilt, it still has the same feel and memories to the old and young. Doors large enough to allow in some of our biggest races, with the exception of the dragons, enter up to the large tavern inside. The first thing when you walk in that you will see are many tables spread out through the room, some in dark corners, some by the windows, and others more centered within the room. A path down the middle of the room will lead you to the back of the tavern where the bar is located. The stools and bar top circle around in a crescent shape to be able to seat many people and allow the bartenders to view the whole of the room with ease. In one of the corners is a lounge area with a large fireplace that seemed to always be well maintained and lit, surrounded by cozy chairs and couches; an area good for meetings, or just relaxing.

To the side is an archway leading into a wide hall of stairs leading to the lower area of the tavern: the arena. The stairs seem to never end, but once you reach the bottom... you see the arena, which is as large as the upstairs tavern, but less cluttered. Hanging on the walls are torches lighting up many symbols, most representing clans or great warriors leaving their mark upon the room for their victory. On one wall is a hanging rack which holds damaged, weak weapons and armor for those wanting to train. The middle is where all the action happens... it is large enough for about four people at a time to battle, but anymore and it would be very difficult to move fluidly.

From the main area of the tavern, you would find stairs leading to the upper level, where rooms were held for the patrons. There were many halls upstairs, with many different rooms: Rooms for the light sensitive or darker in nature, rooms for the royals, rooms for the broke travelers, and regular rooms decorated for comfort or romance. All the rooms had two locks, a bolt lock and a key lock, windows to the outside (with the exception of the dark rooms), balconies for the suite's, dressers, beds, a bathroom, and a free dinner. Most of the time there is a room available for everyone, unless there is a gathering for the royals, or clans, or organizations.

Walking down the stone path in front of the tavern, you would see the mass lake seeming more like an ocean from it's sheer size than just a lake. Small islands more towards the middle grow few trees and are covered in sand, one in particular with black sand. Some patrons rumor that island to have been burnt up by an angry dragon who set the lake a boil in it's rage.

To the other side of the tavern is a forest as far as you can see. The forest is thick, with few spots to actually allow light in most of the time, let alone let someone enter from above. In the middle of the forest, quite a few miles in, is a clearing. The clearing is at the edge of a few cliffs where the river drops off, making a beautiful waterfall and pond. This is a popular place for couples, but it seems to attract others for... darker reasons as well.

From the lake you'll see to one side, a small village harboring most of the lands best shops due to being so close to the tavern. Shops with dresses or jewelry in their windows, shops with blacksmiths and weapons or armor for the warriors, smaller and less popular bars and taverns, a couple stables towards the end of the village, and more. Many people try to stay out of the village at night however, due to rumors of vampires, demons, assassins and such... but their just silly fears, right?
