Ch'ildiilyésii
(Chrysothamnus nauseosus)

 
The community of Rabbit Brush is located between Navajo, New Mexico, and Fort Defiance, Arizona. The area is called Ch'ildiilyésii in Navajo, name for the rabbit brush bushes (Chrysothamnus nauseosus) that grow in the area. This area is known for an annual "Haunted Canyon" that is held in a nearby canyon called Tsétsíí' (Rock Base).

A few prominent rock formations occur in this area, such as Tsé Íí'áhí (Standing Rock), Sáanii Da'íjiidí (Elderly Women Carrying Packs), & ééchaa'í Dah Sikéhé (Two Dogs Sitting High), the last of which is not shown below.
