Since that time, I was lucky enough to be cast in the Community Players productions of Evita and Sound Of Music. For my first non-musical play, I was Dorine in the Liston Campus Drama Club production of Tartuffe. How did it go? Well....put it this way...the next day, while cleaning up in the auditorium, on of the LCDC advisors, Laurie Sherman, and I were trying to figure out exactly which level of hell we'd been in. The main problem was people who didn't show up for rehearsal, thus ending up not knowing their lines. I still had fun. And I adore Laurie, and the other 3 advisors, Margaret (she's the blond maid in the picture), Ann & Ellen.
My first experience with Shakespearean Theatre was in the summer of 2005. I played Titania in A Midsummer Night's Dream with the East Providence Community Theatre . I was "a spirit of no common rate" surrounded by a top-rate cast.
