Welcome to the World of Roxie!!

This is Me!!!
Me and Margaret Connell in Tartuffe. I was Dorine, she was Flipote.
"Greetings and Salutations!" I'm Kerri Lynn, a.k.a. ROXIE...I am now 29, and currently a student at CCRI, and an aspiring actress. In March and April of 2004, I made my debut in the Community Players production of Funny Girl. (Thank you, Andrew, for casting me!!) It was the most amazing experience of my life, hands down! I cried my eyes out the day it closed. Much love to all my adopted Funny Girl family.

Since that time, I was lucky enough to be cast in the Community Players productions of Evita and Sound Of Music. For my first non-musical play, I was Dorine in the Liston Campus Drama Club production of Tartuffe. How did it go? Well....put it this way...the next day, while cleaning up in the auditorium, on of the LCDC advisors, Laurie Sherman, and I were trying to figure out exactly which level of hell we'd been in. The main problem was people who didn't show up for rehearsal, thus ending up not knowing their lines. I still had fun. And I adore Laurie, and the other 3 advisors, Margaret (she's the blond maid in the picture), Ann & Ellen.

My first experience with Shakespearean Theatre was in the summer of 2005. I played Titania in A Midsummer Night's Dream with the East Providence Community Theatre . I was "a spirit of no common rate" surrounded by a top-rate cast.
