Here at Planet Porcellio, I specialize in the Terrestrial Isopod Porcellio scaber, as well as many other species of Isopods. Through selective breeding, and field collecting at various hot spots, I've created colonies in different color morphs. Isopods are great scavengers, and they've been known to keep terrariums clean and free of fungus, and keep mite populations to a minimum. Isopods also are good feeders for some amphibians, spiders and other animals. These color morphs make your cleaning crew more attractive, like "hidden jewels" throughout the enclosure. I've also created a wonderful Isopod diet, that I also feed to my roach colonies, beetles and mealworms. Packed with various grains, fruits, vegetables, animal and vegetable proteins, calcium, vitamins & minerals, both the isopods and roaches have shown a boost in reproduction, size and energy. It's in dry powdered form so it's easy to work with.
