1 oz. Scotch
1/4 oz. Drambuie
Serve in an old-fashioned glass over ice
Drinkin' Rusty Nails:
The Unofficial Ron Hawkins and the Rusty Nails Drinking Game
Drink once if:
- Ron asks for his monitor to be turned up or down (drink twice if another band member asks)
- Ron re-tunes his guitar (drink twice if he has to bring Lawrence in to help)
- Ron says "it goes like this right here" before a song
- Ron says "thank you very much" after a song
- Ron uses a capo (drink twice if he doesn't put it on the right fret)
- Chris dances (drink twice if he gets Jason to join in)
- Chris plays air guitar with his sax during a guitar solo
- Chris changes saxophones
- someone in the crowd starts dancing (drink twice if it's not in Toronto or Buffalo)
- the song has the word 'suffer' somewhere in the title
Drink twice if:
- Ron breaks a string (drink 3 times if Lawrence changes the string)
- Ron screws up a lyric (drink 3 times if he misses a line altogether)
(drink your whole drink if it's because another band member made him laugh)
- Ron thanks the opening act
- Ron plays a song solo
- Lawrence plays harmonica (drink 3 times if he plays any other instrument)
- Chris sings backup vocals
- Michael says something into the mic between songs
- Michael starts jamming on a bassline between songs (eg. Iron Man, Owner of a Lonely Heart) (Drink twice more for each band member he gets to join in)
- Mark breaks a drumstick
Drink three times if:
- Ron tells an obviously ficticious story in his 'stage banter'
- any band member is wearing a hat
- Ron promises that the new CD is coming soon
- they play a cover song (drink your whole drink if Lawrence sings it)
Drink your whole drink if:
- a band member draws blood
- they play a Lowest of the Low cover
Keep drinking during a delay for 'technical difficulties'
Throw your drink at anyone who yells out a Lowest of the Low song title!
