Deceased had lived in Milan a number of years, and was always held in the highest esteem as a man of great integrity, being strictly honest in all his business relations. This trait of character seem to have characterized his life from infancy, and he was the proud posseseor of a bible given him by the Bardon Park Baptist Church for his good behavior and regular attendance at Sunday school when a boy. Much sympathy is extended to the family in this, their hour of bereavement.
The funeral occurred at the Baptist Church at 1:30 pm Friday, Rev. T. D. Denman officiating, and were attended by large concourse of relatives and friends. The interment took place in the York Cemetery.
