Live Tape Performances

The live tapes listed below , were recorded , mixed, & produced by Terry Hammer for the following San Francisco Bay Area radio stations : KALX ; KTIM : KSAN : KUSF : KSFS . Some of the shows were also broadcast on other radio stations across the country .

Although the original recording dates are listed , only the shows recorded at the Old Waldorf in San Francisco , and the Keystone Berkeley , Pauley Ballroom , Zellerbach Auditorium , and Lower Sproul Plaza (renamed Biko Plaza) ,U.C. Berkeley , were actually simulcast (broadcast the same time as taping) . The shows from the other venues were taped and broadcast at a later date .

I have created a record label , Vampir Records , to issue some of my Best shows. The Lewd is my first release , Look for "Lewd Conduct In A Public Place !" : The Lewd "Live" at the Mabuhay March 1,1980 on a limited production vinyl run of 500 total (400 black wax and 100 RED vinyl !). The first pressing is SOLD OUT !, The second pressing is a co-release with Subterranean Records. Instead of the bootleg style glued on covers that the first pressing had, the second pressing is done on 220 gram vinyl , and features liner notes by Dirk himself , and actual art work designed by Sats. It also includes 3 STUDIO BONUS TRACKS,( that I have digitally remastered), Mobile Home, ( go to hell in ) Hollywood,and Dressed In Black !
