Dental Hygienist

1.What are you work ethics?
*Compassion for my patients.
2.Do you feel work ethics have changed over the years.
*Yes I do very much
3.Please Explain.
*At one time a patients health meant everything.  Today its if they can afford to be treated.
4.Do you think work ethics of teenagers have changes. Give some examples.
*Not if the ethics of the parents haven't.  It's taught at home.
5.Pick one of the jobs you obtained in the past and explain why you chose that job.
*My entire career has been a dental assistant/ hygienist.  I've always been interested in
a medical career.
6.Was it because of the benefits or was it because you felt you made a difference?
*It was because I wanted to make a difference.  Help and educate people on their health.
7.Would you chose a job because it paid big and harmed people, plants and animals?
*There is no amount of money they would convince me to harm another human being
8.Please explain.
*Morals
9.Would you chose a job that paid little but you felt you were making a difference?
*Yes, but I must admit to an extent.
10.Please explain.
*I must provide the necessities for my family
11.How did you obtain your work ethics?  Did you obtain them from family or the
neighbor you live in?
*Fortunately I obtained my work ethics from my family-- it starts at homes
12.How old were you when you first obtained your first job?
*I was approximately 22 years old.  Although I've worked part time after school,
here and there.
13.Was it your chose or was it forced upon you?
*Responsibility was something that my parent in stilled in us.
14.Did that job make a difference in your life?
*Yes.  15 years later am still employed at the same office.  It has taught me responsibility-
 .  My employer is an exceptional human being.
15.Please explain.
*At one time it made all the difference, but as you mature there's always more.  So
i'm not sure. I've decided to go back to Dental School.
