If your
browser doesn't support Map Blast, here are writen directions...
The Historical Society is located just 8 miles south of exit 41
on the New York State Thruway (mile marker 321), just an hour's
drive from both Syracuse and Rochester. After exiting the
thruway, take U.S. Route 318 East until you come to Gravel Road.
Turn right onto Gravel Road, and follow it until it reaches
Seneca Falls. At the village line Gravel Road changes into Cayuga
Street. Follow another 1/2 mile until it merges on the left with
U.S. Routes 5 & 20. After another 1/2 mile you come to 55
Cayuga Street. The Historical Society is on the right. Just look
for the sign out front. If you drive over the railroad tracks,
you've gone too far.
From the South you can get to Seneca Falls on U.S. Route 414.
Just travel North until you enter Seneca Falls. Drive over the
Ovid Street Bridge, and continue straight on U.S. Routes 5 &
20 for about another 1/2 mile, just past the railroad tracks to
55 Cayuga Street. The Historical Society is on the left. Just
look for the sign. If you come to a fork in the road, you've gone
too far.
If you can't locate Seneca Falls on the map, it is located in
upstate New York, halfway between Syracuse and Rochester, and at
the northern tip of Cayuga Lake. Approximately one hour from
Syracuse, Rochester, and Ithaca.
