This is Pretty Baby. He is my favorite pet. I have two parakeets. I got Pretty Baby about 4 years ago. He's so adorable. I taught him several words and phrases but his favorite seems to be "I Love You" because he says it all the time. In fact he even taught my newest parakeet to say it.
Prince (aka Princess) is my newest pet parakeet. Originally I wanted to buy a bigger bird, like an Umbrella Cockatoo or something of similar size, but I saw this bird in the store and instantly fell in love with it. He was just a baby bird at the time so we were not sure if it was a male or female bird just yet. (It takes a few months to a year to learn the sex of the bird.) Well anyway, as the story goes, I picked up "Princess" and walked all around the store with her. My mother and I really thought that she was the sweetest bird in the store. She was so friendly and so quiet. Well when we got her home it was a different story. We brought home a little albino devil bird. About a year after adopting Princess, we found out that the bird which we thought was a girl turned out to be a nasty boy!
He squawks all day and never stops sexually harassing his swing, hehe! It seems like he’s got issues with inanimate objects. Everyone that comes to see him laughs about it. Oohh and he is so vicious too. When he bites, he tries to draw blood. Gotta love him!
