Thomas Alderman, Jr. was born 11 Jan 1683 at Simsbury, Connecticut. His parents were William Alderman and Mary Case. He went with friends to East Hampton, Long Island and there at the age of 19 married Mary Seagrave, Rev. Nathaniel Huntting officiating. Thomas Alderman and his wife, Mary Seagrave settled in the Cohansey District of New Jersey. His occupation was a weaver. Thomas Alderman died at the age of 32 on 15 August 1715. The children of Thomas Alderman, Jr. and Mary Seagrave were:

1. Infant Alderman b abt 1704, died 31 March 1704.
2. Mary Alderman was born abt 1705.
3. Thomas Alderman was born abt 1707.
4. William Alderman was born abt 1709 and died abt 1759. He married Abigail _______.
5. Daniel Alderman was born about 1711 and died October 1785. Daniel Aldeman married Abigail Harris, daughter of Nathaniel Harris and Miriam Brooks.
