My Franchises

Welcome Falcons fans! Well I know you guys are excited about the new football season, but I know you are even more excited about your new starting QB Michael Vick. Now we all know that in real life Vick is not only a QB, but also a RB. Well, in the game, its the same way! If you get in trouble don't hesitate to run just make sure u dive if you're about to get hit because Vick does tend to fumble quite a bit. He also has a fantastic arm, he makes 50, 60, 70 or even 80 yard bombs look easy, he is just an amazing player and I did everything I could to get him on my team when I started my franchise. Ok lets get back to the whole team, as a whole, I gotta tell you , they suck! They have a horrible rating and are not even close to looking like a playoff contender in this game. I know they did make it to the 2nd round of the playoffs this year but if you plan on doing that in this game you'd better get some real help with some trades. Well here's your ratings:

Overall: 66
Offense: 68
Defense: 69
Special Teams: 71
QB: 78
RB: 83
WR: 72

Want some hints on coaching the Falcons? Here you go:

Vick is inexperienced but he definitely has the skill to lead this team. You should use his speed by running plays that have the qb roll out, this will give you a better view of the field and allow you to run if needed. Use Warrick Dunn carefully, DO NOT use him often to run to the inside, you might want to use Duckett for inside runs and stick Dunn to the outside runs as he is much more effective, he is also a fantastic receiver out of the backfield, that can be very helpful on 3rd and 4 or 5. Mix up your defense, you lack quite a few skills so make up for them in schemes. Oh and you might not want to be predictable, go ahead and cheat your safeties towards the middle of the line on running plays.

Key Players:

RB Warrick Dunn

In his 6th season out of Florida State, Warrick Dunn's excellent speed and his ability to elude tacklers makes him one of the leagues great open field runners. Eager to shed the label as "3rd down" back, the vet comes to Atlanta as the centerpiece of the offense. Dunn is as good a receiver coming out of the backfield as he is a halfback. He has played in 2 pro bowls and shows great durability despite his 180 pound frame. (Dunn is an excellent rb in this game, I know he didnt have a great season in the real nfl, but in this game he is fantastic so USE HIM! He is great.)

CB Ray Buchanan

Ray Buchanan is always going to try to make the big play, and for most of his 10 year career, good things happen when Ray is on the field. A 3 year starter at Louisville, he was a member of the NFL's all rookie team in '93, and he played in the Pro Bowl following the '98 season.
