Mathis is Back Again! Clint Mathis found the perfect time to start scoring again.
With the game score-less after 91 minutes of play "Cletus" struck in the game's lone goal. Defender Craig Ziadie stripped the
ball away from D.C.'s Bobby Convey, He found Andy Williams who then passed the ball to the Brazilian Rodrigo Faria who was
just outside United's penalty box. Faria sent a low cross from left side to the far post. "Cletus" struck the ball into the
net from 5 yards out. The goal was Mathis' 3rd goal of the season, and 1st in five appearances ...

against arch rival D.C. United. The goal was his first since returning from the World Cup.
