BIO

Mamaduo "Big Mama" Diallo came to the MetroStars with a big problem on his back. Along with being involved in what was considered the biggest MLS trade ever, he has anger in the heart of all MetroStars fans. During the Metros incredible run in the 2000 season, Big Mama stepped on ex-goalkeeper Mike Ammann's chest. In the results were a few broken ribs, and a punctured lung. Diallo finished the year winning the Budweiser MLS Scoring Award, and MLS All-Star MVP.

In 2001, Diallo had a miserable season, and nowhere near the game level as the season before. Midfielder maestro Carlos Valderama was packaged in the end of the season to Colorado. Though Diallo was voted to participate in the MLS All-Star game.

In 2002 he was drafted to the Revolution after the Mutiny and Fusion were contracted. Scoring one goal, he was sent to the Red and Black with Ted Chronopolous and Andy Williams for Daniel Hernandez, Brian Kramler, and Diego Serna. He scored a goal in his first game with the Metros, and then scored four in the following game versus the Galaxy. Weeks later he accidentally stepped on Revs' goalie Adin Brown, was red carded, suspended for additional game, and also fined for slapping Hernanadez in the face......
