The Mount Laurel Center for the Family
Center for Adoptive Families
The Mount Laurel center for the Family is pleased to announce the opening of our new Center for Adoptive Families.
The Center for adoptive Families is a place where anyone who has been touched by an adoption will find a therapeutic haven to explore their issues. We understand that adoption is a life long process and offer our clients a sensitivity that can only be found within an adoption-specific arena.
Clients coming to the Center will find our services comprehensive, offering family, couples, individual, group and play therapy.
We welcome all members of the adoption triad. We envision our Center as a place where birth parents can discuss feelings before and after relinquishment; parents of older, special needs adoptees can overcome emotional and behavioral problems, and adult adoptees can examine feelings of loss and abandonment that often surface around significant life events. We believe that adoption-specific counseling is about making the adoptee feel whole. We are devoted to this ideal.
We look forward to bringing you a Spring conference featuring a speaker expert in the field of adoption as well as interesting and meaningful workshops.
