CONFERENCE GOAL:

This conference is geared toward addressing solutions that are relevant and helpful to young women about the issues that most affect them. Women and girls coming together to brainstorm, analyze and strategize ways to tangibly eliminate the challenges that face our young women and girls today. This Conference serves as a meeting place for women of color to network, build alliances and familiarize ourselves with the wealth of talented, gifted and uplifting sisters as we work toward keeping ourselves and each other in wellness in all facets of life. This annual conference will be a safe haven for woman and teen girls to address issues of violence prevention, safe sex, sexuality, boundary setting, relationships and consent, and community organizing.

The goal of this conference is a part of an ongoing movement of empowerment and enrichment for women and girls of color. One of re-claiming our rights of health and well being, spiritually, emotionally and physically at every level of our lives. It is an effort to provide women and girls with vital information as well as a support system to help them excel in their personal and professional endeavors. It is dedicated to the upliftment of women of color across class, generational and racial lines. We want girls and women to reach their fullest potential and through programs and advocacy, we will help them to develop the self-esteem and character needed to be successful. We believe when women improve the quality of their lives, the communities to which they contribute improve as well.
