Maybe she is the Akeelah of poetry, a girl between 8 and 18 who is able to envision big or small words on a page, that allows the rest of us to see her art and beauty.
Profile of A Princess submissions will be accepted in advance from registered conference participants, or completed on conference day during a break in activities.
The younger girls will answer the question, "What Makes Me A Princess?" and the teens will describe themselves as, "I Am An About to be Queen."
Participants may be invited to read at the awards banquet on Sunday, October 29, 2006. Prizes will be awarded in both categories.
