Ibu Pejabat Daerah (K) polis Sg. Siput (U) terletak di pekan Sg. Siput (U). Pekan Sg. Siput (U) terletak kira-kira 28km dari Bandaraya Ipoh di Selatan dan kira-kira 22km dari Bandar Diraja Kuala Kangsar di Utara.

Daerah (K) Sg. Siput (U) mempunyai keluasan 155.141 hektar. Ianya bersempadan dengan Daerah Hulu Perak di sebelah Timur Laut, Daerah Kuala Kangsar di sebelah Utara, Daerah Ipoh di sebelah Selatan dan Negeri Kelantan di sebelah Timur. Hampir 60% permukaan buminya dipenuhi bukit bukau serta hutan di kawasan pendalaman dan kawasan perladangan serta kawasan-kawasan bekas lombong di pinggir pekan/perkampungan.

The Sg. Siput Sub-District Police Headquarters is located in the town of Sg. Siput (North). Sg. Siput (N) town is located 28km from the city of ipoh to the south and 22km from the Royal town of Kuala Kangsar to the North.

The district of Sg. Siput (N) covers an area of 155.141 hectars. It borders the district of Hulu Perak to the North West, the district of Kuala Kangsar to the North , the district of Ipoh to the South  and the state of Kelantan to the East.

About 60% of the land area is still covered by hills and forest in the remote areas, whereas agriculture land and estates are found at the fringes of the town/villages.
