THE QUEEN OF HEAVEN

The Blessed Lady, The Bearer of God, The Mother of God, The All Blessed Virgin Mary, The Mother of All God’s Children, The Queen of Heaven and Earth, The Most Glorious of all God’s Creation, is your Mother. She who is more glorious and beautiful than the holiest of God’s angels, cherubim and seraphim, is God’s Mother and ours. She loves you as a Mother loves Her Child. In you She sees Her Divine Son, Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She is most tender and sweet, understanding and gentle. The Sweetness of Sweetness, the Joy of Joys, the Hope of Hopeless and the Strong Fortress against all adversity for those that put their trust in Her.

In desolate places, to ascetics and monks who live in great self denial and self discipline, in cities crowded filled with teaming human endeavor, in places of work, of study, of medicine and science, in areas of public service, wherever you are, home at work or play, call upon our Lady and She will hear, She will come and give you peace, joy and hope!


Mary, the All Blessed Virgin understands you when no one else does. She loves you, when you feel like no one else cares. She is concerned about you when you feel no one gives you a thought. In your joy, She is glad for you, in your trials She stands by you, in your sin She weeps for you. There is no greater joy than speaking with Her. No more secure counsel than Her love.

Bring to Our Lady all your burdens and troubles and fear not! She is quick to hear, and always ready to help. She, Mary our All Holy Lady and Queen stands tender above you as a Mother over Her child, watching your steps, holding you when your legs are weak, picking you up when you stumble, wiping your tears when you hurt.



As in all human relationships, becoming close with the All Blessed Lady takes time, effort and communication. Talk with Her. Love Her. Bring Her into your life. She awaits for you to do so. Ask Her and She will answer, call Her and She will come to you, believe in Her and She will never betray your faith or let you down. As Mother of the Almighty God, who came to us in the Person of Her Divine Son, Jesus our Lord, She has great boldness and speaks to HIM the Eternal Creator of the Universe as a Mother speaks to Her Son. She speaks frankly and openly, and He as Her Beloved Son listens to Her please and gives Her all she asks.



Out of all the human beings that came before our Lady, out of all those that lived during Her earthly life time, out of all the human beings that will ever be born unto the very last person of our species, She Alone was found worthy to give birth to God the Word. She alone was found to be so spotless and pure, so innocent and humble as to bear within Her womb the Awesome and Terrible Creator of the Universe!

Below find some words of the Sacred Scripture regarding our Lady for your meditation and prayer.

The Annunciation by the Archangel Gabriel to Our Lady, the All Blessed Virgin Mary:

Luke 1:26-55
26 Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city in Galilee, called Nazareth,
27 to a virgin engaged to a man whose name was Joseph, of the descendants of David; and the virgin's name was Mary.
28 And coming in, he said to her, "Hail, favored one! The Lord {is} with you."
29 But she was greatly troubled at {this} statement, and kept pondering what kind of salutation this might be.
30 And the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary; for you have found favor with God.
31 "And behold, you will conceive in your womb, and bear a son, and you shall name Him Jesus.
32 "He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David;
33 and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever; and His kingdom will have no end."
34 And Mary said to the angel, "How can this be, since I am a virgin?"
35 And the angel answered and said to her, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; and for that reason the holy offspring shall be called the Son of God.
36 "And behold, even your relative Elizabeth has also conceived a son in her old age; and she who was called barren is now in her sixth month.
37 "For nothing will be impossible with God."
38 And Mary said, "Behold, the bondslave of the Lord; be it done to me according to your word." And the angel departed from her.
39 Now at this time Mary arose and went with haste to the hill country, to a city of Judah,
40 and entered the house of Zacharias and greeted Elizabeth.
41 And it came about that when Elizabeth heard Mary's greeting, the baby leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit.
42 And she cried out with a loud voice, and said, "Blessed among women {are} you, and blessed {is} the fruit of your womb!
43 "And how has it {happened} to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?
44 "For behold, when the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby leaped in my womb for joy.
45 "And blessed {is} she who believed that there would be a fulfillment of what had been spoken to her by the Lord."
46 And Mary said: "My soul exalts the Lord,
47 And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior.
48 "For He has had regard for the humble state of His bondslave; for behold, from this time on all generations will count me blessed.
49 "For the Mighty One has done great things for me; and holy is His name.
50 "And His mercy is upon generation after generation toward those who fear Him.
51 "He has done mighty deeds with His arm; He has scattered {those who were} proud in the thoughts of their heart.
52 "He has brought down rulers from {their} thrones, and has exalted those who were humble.
53 "He has filled the hungry with good things; and sent away the rich empty-handed.
54 "He has given help to Israel His servant, in remembrance of His mercy,
55 As He spoke to our fathers, to Abraham and his offspring forever." (NAS)


You also can repeat the words of Gabriel to our All Holy Lady, or in your prayers together with the Prayer of the Heart, (Lord Jesus Christ have mercy on me a sinner), you can repeat the blessed words: "Most Holy Theotokos, (Mother of God), save us!" She can save by speaking to our Savior on our behalf, and by speaking with courage and boldness inherent in a Mother to Her Almighty Son, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, He who is, He who was, He who is to come, OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST!
