The only exclusion is single males.

COUNTIES SERVED:
Jefferson, Cocke, Knox, Grainger, Hamblen, and Hancock

  • Business hours: 9:00 am
    - 5:00 pm
  • Service hours: 24 hours
  • Referrals should contact the shelter.

SUPPORTIVE SERVICES:
They provide their clients with a place to sleep, eat, and fellowship until they can get back on their feet; clothing and furniture.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Children are accepted. Teenage boys are accepted on a case-by-case basis. CEASE serves Hamblen, Hawkins, Grainger and Claiborne counties. A second shelter is in Claiborne County. Out-of-state clients are accepted. The length of stay is 90 days maximum.

INTAKE PROCEDURES:
No fees are charged. REferrals should contact either the business or hotline number. Walk-ins are accepted.

BUSINESS HOURS:
8:00 am - 5:00 pm

SERVICE HOURS:
24 hours

SUPPORTIVE SERVICES:
Counseling, support groups, legal advocacy, interpreters (Spanish). Legal advocacy and groups are open to the public. Hamblen County support group meets at 5:30 pm on Monday. Claiborne County support group - contact the program. Interested participants should contact the shelter for locations. Child care is provided.
