Orange Appreciation

Sometimes I just don't realize that I am as involved as I am with my tractor hobby.  While working on my tractors one day, I had cut my hand.  My wife was somewhat puzzled to see that my blood was still red and had not yet made the transformation to Persian Orange as she had thought. J

Orange Art Appreciation at it's finest………..

Even the grandchildren recognize the beauty of an Allis!

My 6-year-old granddaughter has always kept pretty good tabs on my tractor collection and she knows when I am expecting a new one.  As soon as a new one has arrived she needs to come over and inspect it.  "Grandpa, will you take me out and show me your new tractor?"

My youngest grandson (at the moment), had already staked his claim to my Allis WC when he was just two years old.  As he sat in the seat and held onto the steering wheel he was saying "MY tractor"!  But then, after a moment of thought, he realized the value and importance of sharing and let me know that the tractor
seat sitting on the floor from a current restoration was to be "Grandpa's Tractor".   He turned four in August 2005 and I can tell I will have to keep a pretty close eye on this little man!

Even the best of them get in a jam sometimes… While out brush hogging, my D19 slid off in an unseen hole.  We pulled her out, cleaned off the mud and back to work again.  Nothing stops an Allis; it's an unstoppable workhorse of a lifetime!

Uh Oh!  One of the grandkids has noticed Grandpa's newest tractor and he seems to
be getting ready to race towards it and claim
ownership before anyone else does.
