RICK'S ALLIS CHALMERS COLLECTION

"Allis" is the ONLY way to go !

Looking at life through ORANGE colored glasses is the only way to see things!

Now that the kids are grown, I have been able to pursue my dreams of owning an Allis Chalmers Tractor of my own.  In June 2001 I became the proud owner of my first Allis Chalmers tractor for restoration.  It was a 1950 WD that I planned to restore in my spare time.  Little did I know the purchase of that one tractor would only be the beginning of my Allis addiction.
And of course, I am proud to say that my entire garage and everything in it now has a tint of orange dusting as a result of my restoration jobs.

I now own several A/C tractors and my collection has grown much bigger than I had ever expected.  I started in my single car garage and then moved onto my two-car garage.  (Needless to say, my wife is not happy that she now has to park her new Mustang outside in the driveway exposed to all the weather, while her spot in the garage houses one of my Allis tractors during yet another restoration job.) I even had to build a new building to house those babies!  And proudly hanging on the building is the street-sign my daughter had custom-made that says
"Rick's Tractor Place".  But I would have to say that there is nothing that I would rather be doing than working on my tractors.  It's a very relaxing hobby and a Great Past-time. And it gets me out of the house for a little "quiet-time" away from the wife and kids.
