Our Facilities

RoseRiver Center accommodations include the Poplar Lodge and the Old Grist Mill. The heart of our Center is the Old Farmhouse which houses our Dinning Room with seating for 75 guests. All buildings are heated and the Farmhouse is air-conditioned. The Lodge grounds include a large fire-pit and abundant wood.

Perched at the beginning of the hiking trails, is the Prayer Chapel, a small log building with a fireplace and large windows overlooking the wilderness.

Our grounds include 150 acres, both cleared and heavily timbered. The Rose River fronts our property and our guests can fish and hunt for unikite, a rock found in only one other place on earth - in Africa. We have a swimming pool, soccer field and several acres of grassy lawn. The mountain rises behind the chapel and several hiking trails have been cleared through the wilderness to the top. Nearby are White Oak Canyon and numerous other attractions.

Along the river is a clearing for primitive campsites. There is a fire pit in this area. We can make arrangements for a limited number of small to mid-size, self-contained RV's on request. Please call us for more details (540) 923-4670.

This is truly a lovely area of  fresh, clear flowing rivers, sparkling rapids and waterfalls, cozy valleys and tangled hollows sprinkled with immaculate farms and rolling pastures, and guarded by the ever-changing Blue Ridge Mountains.

RoseRiver is dedicated to Jesus as Sovereign King. It is staffed by volunteers who consider it their ministry to diligently serve our guests and to maintain the property and buildings. We earnestly pray that all will know they have been in the presence of the Most High God and leave refreshed in spirit and in body.
