Cafe Ole!

...Please be patient....

This page is dedicated to those who wanted a little more. More than just a bike able to ride around on. Whoever just rides around on a bike anyway? OK. I do too. Seems we're always either cruising, touring or sightseeing or going really really fast. It's always gotta be something with us. Café styling of bikes started out a long time ago and gave us a little bit more rebel to our name as motorcyclists or bikers. I'm still learning about this cult-like field of motorcycling so bear with me as I take you on my journey from here to the world of Café bikes and Café racing. We'll start with my friend Gary and I as we build our own Café bikes. Gary is in Minnesota and I'm in Detroit. Gary and I are both employed in the field of Quality and as a matter of fact, Gary is also quite the writer as well. He writes for the Minnesota Motorcycle Monthly magazine (I'm still waiting for my copy Gary!) and has quite a bit more knowledge of the Café world than I do. You should read some of his articles and columns. Anyway, Gary is going to be building his Café bike out of a Honda CL450 and I'll be building mine out of a Honda CL350KO. Mine is totally bone stock, complete and original at this moment. My intent is to convert mine without degrading the integrity of the original bike. That is, if I change something on the bike, there will either be a spare for it or it will be able to be changed back at a later time if someone wanted to do so for restoration purposes.

Frickles 350

Mark Frickles CL350KO Scrambler - Café style! Check out his website as he's got more hot pics of this bad boy.

This bike was designed and built from the ground up by my dad. It's an SR150 Cafe Canyon Carver and is reportedly very fast.
