We are all gathering to pay respects to the late Fiona O’Shea. Fiona’s health faltered quickly after her son’s (mysterious) death six months ago. Now, family and friends from the boxing community in which her son was so predominant have come to pay homage to her life. An Irish wake is a farewell to a loved one, but also a celebration of life (life in general, and particularly that of the dearly departed) and it is nice to see, after all the recent controversy surrounding the O’Shea family, all these people putting aside their differences to come together for this occasion...
