Busy Bee This Weekend 28-29th March

Attention all members - THIS WEEKEND! 28th & 29th March there will be a busy bee at the track starting at around 9am on both days.
We have some really big shows coming up with our club hosting three State Titles as well as a few DOUBLE header shows. Its going to be an awesome year.
The usual whipper snippers, rakes, shovels etc will come in handy! If you have not got tools, bring yourself and lend a hand
Remember this is OUR club, so If you have time to come along & help it would be greatly appreciated!
Looking forward to seeing everyone over the weekend of the 28th & 29th March getting our track ready for the 2015 racing season.

Wormal Civil proudly presents the Wingless Sprints WA State Title on Saturday April 11 2015.
This is our opening meeting for the 2015 racing season supported by Street Stocks, Production and Junior Sedans.
The meeting is to be held on a Saturday. Gates will open at 8.30am with racing set to commence at 12pm.
Nominations are now open for sedan divisions. All sedan Nominations close 5pm Tuesday 7th April 2015.

Jason Oldfield has won the West Australian Street Stock Title at the Esperance Speedway on Saturday night, leading the last twenty one laps of the race, before a bumper crowd at the Esperance venue. Unfortunately there has been an increased number of events recently where competitors are either being allowed or are deceiving situations and then competing at venues while NOT LICENCED.
This is a huge cause for concern to us on many levels such as the venues Liability Insurance is in breach and no cover at all for the competitor, and there could be ramifications to many aspects of the sport and its future.

This year will mark the 42nd Year of one of Western Australia’s most prestigious Street Stock Blue Ribbon Events, The Brian Rose Memorial. The Brian Rose Memorial formerly known as the RDA 100 was first run at Wattle Grove Speedway in 1973 and is now one of Australia’s longest running events. Brian Rose was one of the only drivers to win the RDA 100 three times (1976, 1980, 1982), the race was renamed the Brian Rose Memorial after his passing in 1984............

To celebrate the milestone, the RDA committee has invited many different speedway divisions to Ellenbrook Speedway over two “Day Meetings” with an overwhelming response. The invitation has resulted in nearly 200 teams confirming participation in the historic event.
The weekend, will not only see the RDA celebrate a 50 year milestone, it will also showcase the sport of speedway in Western Australia. 12 different forms of racing will be appearing over the weekend which includes Sprintcars over two days, Sedans, V8 Late Models, Supermods, V8 Dirt Modifieds and Wingless Sprints............

Nominations are now open for the RDA 50 year anniversary meeting. The meeting will see a variety of divisions appearing over the weekend from the 31st May - 1st June which will be Day meetings. Our club divisions of Juniors, Street Stocks and Productions Sedans will also be appearing on both days of competition. Please get your nominations in early as this promises to be a memorable event. Kye Blight has successfully defended his Western Australian Modified Sedan Title at Ellenbrook Speedway today in a rain affected event. The A Main was held just before 11am WST, after heavy rains on Saturday evening prevented the A Main from taking place. Hard work overnight by Ellenbrook club volunteers had the track race ready for Sunday morning to allow the WA Modified Sedan Title to be completed.............
