All initial consultations are free and are done in person. An initial consultation will screen for the presenting concerns, review essential history and include a mental status assessment. If it is agreed that further treatment is warranted, a full Mental Health Assessment will be completed and an initial Treatment Plan will be developed.
The Treatment Plan will identify goals that you will work towards and will include reasonable time frames for completion.
If you have been referred for services by your physician or an agency, it may be beneficial for there to be communication regarding your mental health needs and treatment with them. This will provide better coordination of care. If it is agreed that this is appropriate, information can only be released with your written consent.
All records remain strictly confidential and cannot be released without your written consent or a court order. All records are maintained in accordance with established ethical standards.
In home and in-facility treatment services are available as appropriate and can be negotiated upon your initial contact.
