There was a time in my life when I thought that suicide was the perfect answer, and hell I still have times where I have to fight the urge sometimes. If you are someone who is coping with suicide than feel free to email me about it (aphotic@yahoo.com) I'm told I have a good ear and even though I may not have all the answers it sometimes helps to chat with someone who's been through it. I'm not a professional however... so if you'd feel comfortable with talking to one I'd suggest finding a psychologist.

Anyway now that that's over with I might as well tell you a bit about myself! I live in a small town, in Canada. I'm 23 and I am in my last year of university at the University of Windsor. I'm female, and am going through the English and Anthropology program. I do love music of basically all kinds...and I'll listen to any song once... if i like it I like it, if not then no big deal... everyone's entitled to their opinion. My favourite songs are Paint it Black (the original of course by The Rolling Stones); Only Happy When it Rains (Garbage); Biscuit and Glory Box (Porishead); Absence of Fear (Jewel); and pretty much anything by The Tea Party. I also love to write poetry and short stories. My favourite poet is John Keats, and my favourite movies are The Shawshank Redemption, Dead Poets Society, Seven, and American History X.

Other updates on their way are ways of dealing with abuse (emotional, physical, sexual, and child oriented), and many many stories from others who have been through some of the things that you may be feeling right now. I would also love to put up information from those who have lost loved ones to suicide and their stories.
